In earlier versions Powers were referred to as "Miracles"- reflecting the darker tinge and as a direct inversion of the holy Miracles of religeous lore.

An idea is to allow "unpurchased" Worldly Powers to be used at a cost multiplier. Problem a) too big of multiplier makes it not worth having rules. problem b) too small of multiplier makes it pointless to purchase all but the most frequently used powers.

There are two reasons for "Powers"- drive economics (and thus the basis for both cooperation and competition) and to provide a framework in which conflict can be expressed within the game.
The economically driven powers should generally be worldly and should roughly break down as such (dark, matter, and light- along with most other terms -refer to resources);
