I'm gonna go ahead and say that many of the improv games we play are typical short form games across the world, and thus have no interesting backstory. A handful are unique to the Ship of Fools, and those should be noted. -RyanGarwood 5:15am April 25 2007
[edit] Origins of Games
It is true, that while most games do not have an interesting back story, it is good to know exactly where certain games were obtained for the History. The details of the origins of 3 Things give us insight into the history and fool lore, including information about the Indianapolis comedysportz workshop, the tower players workshop, to the early relationship of the Fools vs. Monkeys wars.
At the same time it gives credit where credit is due, and helps us identify games that the SoF did invent. I had no idea where 3 Things came from before Scott Yost informed us via the wiki, a imagined it was an SoF original, which it turned out not to be.
