I hope the creator doesn't mind me editing this wiki. I just think it can look so much better... Sgt pepper 02:23, February 11, 2010 (UTC)

Don't think anybody minds. Thing is, if they had more time to spend so they could learn the design code this website hase and use it, they probably would have done it themselves... At least that's much likely what I got when I changed the wiki

A wiki is intended to get edited by various people with good/profound information about the topic. :) Moshix 18:02, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

I've started going through the different pages and cleaning up/adding stuff. Some suggestions on stuff to add would be awesome. RambleTamble 12:57, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

I've also started helping up on cleaning the posts that has been made as well as adding a few things I've discovered on my own. =) RevoX 07:11, November 24, 2011 (UTC)

You know, I started playing VH properly ( not just for the porn) it's actually a REALLY good game, while it's an open game, there is an over arching story (the bandits at the end of spa town) should we create a story page? or just leave it to the quests page Monkeyman767 04:26, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

I kinda feel they're essentially the same, except that the quest page needs a little clean up since there are old versions still put up. RevoX 07:40, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I may have been a little tipsey when I wrote that, best to ignore it. Though , mentioning old versions theres an interesting bit, on hongfire the latest version is 111124 ( downloaded it and tested it it's DEFINATELY a new one ) but none of the usuall sources have it listed, is there a third source that we don't know about? I know they have a BBS though I have no idea what / where it is 86.45.200.63 03:10, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

I'm thinking that we should update everything so that it is reflected on the latest version. It's confusing that we have old events/quests that no longer exists in the later versions. RevoX 01:02, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd tend to agree, the only problem is with how frigging fast they release updates ( actually that's a good thing ) though as far as I know 111129 IS the latest for now and it seems like it's finishing off that fairy quest in the Capitol but I don't read Japanese so creating a guide is pretty damn hard. But I think cleaning up the quests they haven't touched in a while is a good idea, like the Bandits hideout quest, the Serena version of the Minataur quest etc. Monkeyman767 04:41, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

I'll be re-writing the quests in Hotspring Town to reflect the version I'm using (1_111109) when I get the time. RevoX 10:15, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

It'd actually be best to keep the entries for the events and quests that have been removed and just mark them as 'No Longer Available' or somesuch along with the version number used to test for them. That way, people still know they did exist and can go back to check them out if interested or to verify when they were added and removed. 174.126.215.112 23:35, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

Possibly yeah but we'd have to make sure they're very clearly marked because as it is the walkthroughs and stuff can be messy at the best of times, though they're better recently

Thinking of putting a change log page up, simply because it's so damn hard to keep track of what new content was added. Will probably do it tomorrow. Way too sick now.Monkeyman767 20:00, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

Awesome. I'd been thinking we needed one, but I honestly wouldn't know where to begin. Hope you feel better soon. 174.126.215.112 00:30, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

Cheers, good bit better now :L Anyway, as to where to begin? Well I guess the latest version is probably the best idea, seeing as , as far as I can tell it has the fewest changes H-content wise in it. The real question is how many versions do we put up, like we don't want the page getting cluttered Monkeyman767 14:58, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

I believe (though I may be mistaken) that they've been releasing updates at an average rate of 2-3/week, so I'd say about 2-4 weeks worth - 10 releases, give or take. After that, we can replace them with a summary of that month's logs and move the detailed logs to a subpage. Then we can repeat the process for a given year - one yearly summary, three monthly summaries and up to ten individual-release logs on the Changelog mainpage; with a subdirectory for exploring updates by year and another in each year by month, with each month holding all individual logs and each year holding all monthly summaries. It'll add a few more directory levels to the database, but everything will be organized and we won't have newbs or noobs asking questions in Talk because they can't find the old updates in the History log - plus, this way, we'll also be able to go back and correct mistakes in those older changelogs for accuracy in posterity. Does that work for you? 174.126.215.112 17:32, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah sounds great, nice and organised. I presume we'll do it from the latest version then? or will we wait for the next one Monkeyman767 19:26, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

Well, since the Current was just released yesterday, I'd say we can probably start with that, or with a summary of the changes that ocurred last month. The latter might be best, as we could then have some structure to begin logging changes present in those from this month and later, as well as from specific releases last month and from months prior in a retroactive fashion. It would help if we could get some of those working on the translation projects in on this, as they have some amount of familiarity with the existing code, but I'm sure we can make a good start, and I can still skim some info from the Maker even without much knowledge of kanji. 174.126.215.112 22:42, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

I agree about the translators, but as far as I know after the latest patch Rogue is taking a break and he doesn't use the latest version of VH anyhow, most other translations are machine based, which while are pretty good , still sometimes mess up so I dunno if they'd be great for a (hopefully) official looking changelog. Though if you can get the info from maker that would be great!

I must have missed yesterdays version, I'll go see if they've updated more, I did actually notice they changed some areas like the caves just north of the swamp Monkeyman767 14:23, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

Been real busy lately, haven't had the time to play the latest versions. I'll run through the translated quests/events (Because I'm hopeless in japanese text =P) and update/correct any issues with the guides. RevoX 03:29, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

Guys, looks like the new version actually has a huge change in the layout of the Captial. Should we change H-events and Quests to follow the new version? RevoX 03:12, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

I think we should wait until we finish labeling the locations and landmarks, maybe create a basic map for navigation, then correct any glaring navigational errors in the Events and Quests pages - but that's just my opinion. 174.126.215.112 16:09, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

True, and I would agree except they seem to be making changes to the layout an awful lot lately, it would make more sense to wait until they change to making more bug fixes and then we could work on the locations

Monkeyman767 20:10, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

I added a link to the Titles page on the front page as well as a temporary note on the pages status (namely the fact that it is practically empty and completely unformatted.) I put my suggestion for a possible table format that could be used in the talk section, but don't know how to make the table myself. Contributions to the page would be greatly appreciated, as it is sorely lacking.

Don't know if this the place to ask or not, sorry if it isn't. I have Rogue's latest patch, but every time I try to go in the inn, or check the 2nd/3rd diary pages, the game crashes. How can I fix this? Juni221 23:10, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I've notice that myself. Rogue, as mentioned earlier, never updated the game when he was patching. Many of the new content that is coming out may be conficting with his patch or vice-versa. We should encourage him to continue translating the game. He did say he would download the latest VH to translate... Now that I think about it, I'd rather wait for a more later VH for him to patch... Still, should encourage him.Montesat 01:37, April 5, 2012 (UTC)

Does anyone know how Rogue is translating the game? I tried using the RPG maker 2000 download on the hongfire page, but it's giving me gibberish (cannot display japanese character). Do I need to get my hands on a Japanese version of RPG maker 2000 instead? Edit: Nvm. Should have done a bit more searching. Nomanex 15:13, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

Anyone find out what the Inn problem was? I can't do shit cause the game won't let me sleep, and whoring Nanako to what's-his-face doesn't count as sleeping. Juni221 16:19, May 19, 2012 (UTC)

Just fixed up the description of the Pierre questline in the capital. Anyone know what the deal is if you take the "bad" route and go with Pierre to the hot spring the second time?

Does anyone actually know who makes this game or do you just check for uploads constantly? I mean- if we don't know who makes this game then how was it even discovered? But really im just curious to see if we even know who the creator is.Lamphobic 20:50, July 15, 2012 (UTC)Someone who doesn't know how to do the signiture thing.

I don't know if this is the appropriate place for this but I have a glitch issue where sometimes when the game starts none of the controls work and it moves on it's own. Anyone else have a similar problem or might know what the issue is?

I tried to update the Threads page but it won't let me. :(
