Talk:Wiki sales pitch
From Scratchpad
[edit] moving this article?
Since the quality of this article has certainly passed the scratchpad phase by now (if a wiki page ever does, that is), I believe it'd be a good thing to move it to some location other than the Wikia Scratchpad.
No offense to this site - it has certainly done a great job in allowing us to even start this article - but isn't there something more permanent (or prominent) we could move this to?

- Maybe on the MediaWiki site. --Fernandoacorreia 10:17, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- AFAIK, that site is only for technical stuff related to the MediaWiki engine - but maybe the Wikimedia Foundation's Meta-Wiki? -- FND 10:22 2007-01-22
- I agree that the MediaWiki site doesn't seem to have a place for this. I'm not sure if Meta has either. What about rewriting as a Wikipedia article related to wiki? There is already this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_wiki --Fernandoacorreia 11:49, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- It would be better to expand the scope of this and have a whole wiki for similar pages as well as case studies of wiki use, so I've created a new Wiki about Wikis. Angela talk 15:16, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- Let us know when it is activated. --Fernandoacorreia 15:30, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- It's working now. I've moved this page to w:c:wikis:Wiki sales pitch. Angela talk 20:53, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
