During Science, the students read for SSR. Instead, Alex, making up for the work he missed, decides to do Science homework without being suspected. After SSR, Miss Molly collected homework. She notices Alex's handwriting and claims it as incomplete due to rushing. "Alex, what is this?" Ms. Molly asked. "Homework" Alex said, "I finished it at home." he also added. "I believe I will have to give you minus points for doing it in class." she said. Daniel informed Alex that he still got credit, but not full credit.
"Okay, let's turn to page 107 of our textbook" Mrs. Molly told the class. They were doing Glossary terms for Lesson 8. They got out a sheet of paper and they copied down the terms. Alex decided to rush through the work and get his completed before everyone was done.
"There" Alex said, "My work here is done".
When the bell rang, the school was dismissed for the rally. It took place on the Football Field due to repainting the School's Gym. The theme for the rally was Battle of the Sexes. The bleachers were divided into genders (Boys on Home Side, and Girls on Visitors Side) for those to sit in. Before the rally started, Alex and Daniel tried to find seating. Mrs. Richardson, also the head leader of the Student Council program at the school, started the school rally. She even claimed that the School Choir will sing the National Anthem at this rally. Everyone in this school stood up for the singing of the Anthem, and the school choir sang:

were so gallantly streaming
And the rockers' red glare,
the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof thro' the night
that our flag was still there
O say, does that star spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave
After the anthem ended, students took their seats and the rally began with the tournaments of Double Dutch Jump Rope. Rose, Bess and Anna volunteered for the Girls, while Manuel, Noah, and Jeff all volunteer the Boys. The girls prevail when they lasted longer than the boys.
Then, the Student Council do a skit between two mascots (Sammy and Sally) talking about how Sammy became a mascot, by outlasting a girl. After that ended, the teachers did a hula-hooping contest, and the girls again outlasted the boys. When S.C. showed the results of the lunch battle between the boys and the girls, the boys were excited that they won the rally. However, the girls actually won the rally since they defeated the boys in the battle. The girls of the school cheer.
After the rally, the students
