The Dork Diaries is an animated series that came to Cartoon Network on September 3, 2012. It is based on the book series by Rachel Renee Russell and ran for four seasons and one-hundred and four episodes until October 2, 2015. It is paired with The Misadventures of Max Crumbly, and is based on Heathcliff and The Catillac Cats.

Plot

  • Follow the adventures of Nikki Maxwell, her younger sister Brianna Maxwell, her parents Elizabeth and Albert Maxwell, her lover Brandon Roberts, her friends Chloe Garcia and Zoey Franklin, her rival Mackenzie Hollister, and there's also Marcy Simms (voiced by Jackie Harris), Jessica Hunter (voiced by Jocelyn Loewen), Principal Bernard Winston (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson), and on the second segment is the cast of The Misadventures of Max Crumbly that feature Max Crumbly (voiced by Will Friedle), his siblings Megan Crumbly (voiced by Jessica DiCicco) and Oliver Crumbly (voiced by Lainie Frasier), his parents Marsha Crumbly (voiced by Nadine Rabinovitch) and Percival Crumbly (voiced by Ron Pardo), his crush Erin Madison (voiced by Candi Milo), his best friends Horton Cooke and Bernie McCoy (voiced respectively by Jason Marsden and Yuri Lowenthal), his rival Douglas "Thug" Thurston (voiced by Danny Cooksey as Megan's worst nightmare) and Principal Avery Bridges (voiced by Alicyn Packard).
