Ash The University Trainer

  • Mark Moraghan: At the very end of Ash's lays the Cartoon Academy, one of the oldest schools on the land of Netflix. Mel Blake is a girl who works there, arranging Beedrill with stone."
  • Mel: Get in line and get ready. You're all heading off for the docks this afternoon."
  • Beedrill: Oh, ow, ow!"
  • Mark Moraghan: It's not an easy job, but Mel knows how to keep the Beedrill in line. One day, there was a big order of stone from the Quarry to the docks. Ash and Ken had been sent to collect it, but they couldn't agree on which of them would be the back character.
  • Ash: It would be better if you to be my back character, Ken, After all, it is my route."
  • Ken: Nonsense, Ash! You should be my back character. Having a draconquus on your route is bound to improve it."
  • Ash: I could take the changelings by myself."
  • Ken: Don't make me laugh! Those Beedrill are much too heavy for one character, especially a Pokemon Trainer like you."
  • Mel: You two should stop arguing. You don't know how lucky are you. I work here in the quarry all the time. At least you get to see the rest of YTV and the seaside."
  • Ash: Would you like to be my back character, Mel?
  • Mel: "Oh no, Ash. I have too much work to do here. There are more Beedrill to get ready and,"
  • Ash: I'm sure Ken can look after things here until you get back."
  • Mel: That does sound nice, if Ken agrees. In fact, it's a lovely idea."
  • Ken: Well, I've got a better one. You can be my front character, Mel. Bad guys are new and revolutionary. We'd be two bad guys working together."
  • Mel: Well, I suppose. Please, Ash, can you look after things here until I get back?"
  • Ken: Ta-ta, Ash! See you later."
  • Mel: There are more Beedrill to get ready. They need to go to the docks by four. But you'll have to mind them, they can be very troublesome."
  • Ash: (sighs) "I do know how to look after Beedrill, Katrina.
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash set to work taking empty Beedrill to be filled with stone, and shunting full ones into line. But the Beedrill were very troublesome. They didn't like to be pushed."
  • Beedrill: Oh, stop that!"
  • Mark Moraghan: And they didn't like to be pulled."
  • Beedrill: Oh, stop! Leave us alone!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash started to get very impatient. He was ready for Katrina and Ken to come back."
  • Ash: (sighs)
  • Mel: Oh, I do love to be by the seaside!"
  • Earthworm Jim: Ah, you're an alicorn after me own heart, Mel.
  • Mel: Thanks for letting me work with you, Ken. But we really do have to get back."
  • Ken: What's the rush? We could do another job together. These Beedrill need to go to the yards. Come on!"
  • Ash: Ah ha, here they are at last. You're not Katrina and Ken."
  • Jackie: I never said we were, did I?"
  • Kitana: I would have noticed it if you had."
  • Ash: But these Beedrill need to get to the docks, and I need a back character to take them. Would you like to work with me, Jackie? You can be my back character.
  • Jackie: That's too many Beedrill for me, Ash. And besides, I need to take the workers home for their supper."
  • Kitana: Just be patient, Ash. I'm sure Mel and Ken will be back very soon."
  • Mark Moraghan: Mel and Ken had delivered the Beedrill to the yards. Now Katrina was ready to get back to the quarry."
  • Katrina: I've had a great time, Ken. But I really do need to get back now."
  • Ken: But, there are more changelings that need to be taken to the Everfree Forest, Mel. We make a good time, you and me. You'd get to see the YTV Bridge."
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash was still waiting and getting very impatient."
  • Ash: Steven will be very cross if these Beedrill don't get to the docks on time. But, he would be very happy it I took them myself. That's it! I'll show that revolutionary Ken I don't need a back character after all."
  • Mark Moraghan: The Beedrill thought that was a great idea."
  • Beedrill: Yes, Ash. Do it. We won't push, and we won't hold back. We'll be on our very best behavior." (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: The Beedrill were heavy and hard to pull without a back character. But once they were rolling, they went very well. Until they reached the first hill."
  • Beedrill: Hold back, hold back!" (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: Without a back character to push from behind, it was very hard to pull the heavy Beedrill up the hill."
  • Ash: Oh! You said you were going to be good."
  • Beedrill: (Giggle) "Sorry, Ash. We forgot. We won't hold you back anymore." (Laugh)
  • Ash: What? No! Help!"
  • Beedrill: On, on! Faster, faster!" (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: Without a back character to pull back from behind, it was very hard to slow down, and Ash's trailer wasn't strong enough to stop the heavy Beedrill.
  • Beedrill: (Laugh) "Faster, faster!"
  • Ash: "Oh no! Jackie, look out!"
  • Mark Moraghan: "Luckily, a signalman switched him on a siding."
  • (CRASH!)
  • Beedrill: (Laugh)
  • Mel: Ash, what happened?"
  • Ash: "You two were taking so long, I decided not to wait and take the Beedrill by myself."
  • Mel: Without a back character?
  • Ash: Not a good idea. I know."
  • Ken: Sorry, Ash. I did tell Mel a number of times that we should get back to the quarry."
  • Mel: "What? You never said... Oh!"
  • Steven: (Clears throat)
  • Mark Moraghan: Mel and Ken helped to get Ash and the Beedrill back onto the path."
  • Steven: I know naughty Ken and Mel left you all on your own, Ash, but you should never have taken those Beedrill without a back character.
  • Ash: I'm sorry, sir. I was trying to be useful."
  • Mark Moraghan: Steven sent Mel back to the quarry to do what she does best. But he also realized that now and then, it was nice for her to take Beedrill down to the docks, and take makes Mel a very happy girl, indeed."
  • Mel: "Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside." (Earthworm Jim joins in) "Oh! I do like to be beside the sea. Oh! I do like to stroll along the Prom, Prom, Prom. Where the brass bands play:" (Bowser joins in) "Tiddely-om-pom-pom!" (Ash joins in) "Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside." (Leonardo joins in) "Oh! I do like to be beside the sea. When I'm down beside the sea. I'm beside myself with glee. Beside the seaside! Beside the sea!"

Jason's Storytime: Ash Goes Fishing

  • Jason: My favorite lunch. Oh, I can't wait. Oh, hello there. I'm one of the drivers on the railway in Netflix. I'm on my break. So I've come to Mr. Edwards' signalbox to eat my lunch. I've got fish and chips. And they're still hot. (Eats one of the fries) Oh! A bit too hot actually. I think I better leave them to cool down. That reminds me of a story? Do you remember when Spike had fish and chips? Or rather he didn't. His driver did. Here we are. Ash Goes Fishing: Ash's route had a station by a river. As he rumbled over he bridge, he would see people fishing. Ash thought it would be lovely to stop by the river. Every time he met another animal, he would say,"
  • Ash: "I want to fish."
  • Jason: "They all answered 'Characters don't go fishing'. One day, Ash stopped to drink water at the station by the driver. His driver turned the tap, but it was out of order, and no water came."
  • Ash's Driver: "Never mind."
  • Jason: "Said his driver."
  • Ash's Driver: "We'll get some water from the river."
  • Jason: "They found a bucket and some rope, and went to the bridge. The bucket was old and had five holes. So they had to fill it, pull it up and give it to Spike as quickly as they could."
  • Ash: "That's good. That's good."
  • Jason: Puffed Ash, as he started along the valley. But then, he began to feel a pain in his body, and smoke began to come from him."
  • Ash: "Oh dear!"
  • Jason: Groaned Ash.
  • Ash: "I'm going to burst! I'm going to burst!"
  • Jason: "They fanned away the smoke and struggled on. Just outside the last station, they ran Ash on a siding right out of the way. And his driver wrote notices in large letters 'DANGER. KEEP AWAY'. Soon, the inspector and Steven arrived. The inspector looked inside Ash.
  • Inspector: "Excuse me, sir."
  • Jason: "He said to Steven."
  • Inspector: "Please look inside and tell me what do you see."
  • Steven: "Gracious goodness me!"
  • Jason: Said Steven.
  • Steven: "How did the fish get in there?"
  • Jason: Ash's driver told him about the bucket. Steven laughed."
  • Steven: Well, Ash. So you and your driver have been fishing. But fish don't suit you, and we must get them out."
  • Jason: So the driver and fireman fetched rods and nets and took turns fishing in Ash. Then, they all had a lovely picnic supper of fish and chips beside the path."
  • Steven: "That was good."
  • Jason: Said Steven.
  • Steven: "But you mustn't do it again."
  • Ash: "I won't."
  • Jason: Said Ash sadly."
  • Ash: Characters don't go fishing. It's too uncomfortable."
  • Jason: Poor Ash. But at least they had a lovely picnic supper of fish and chips, like me. Hmmm. Lovely."

Virgil and The Warners

  • Mark Moraghan: It was high summer and the busiest time of the year on the land of Netflix. Holidaymakers from the mainland flocked to the beach and other attractions. The characters were busier than they'd ever seen before.
  • Ash: Bust my hands, what a day! I've never seen so many passengers."
  • Raimundo: "I don't mind. All the more people to admire my shine brown hair.
  • Mark Moraghan: At this time of years, Steven would often worry about getting everyone to their destinations on time."
  • Steven: All aboard! Come on, Raimundo. There's no time for dillydallying. Chop-chop. We can't have any delays." (Inflatable toy flies onto his head) "Oh. What's this? Oh, my!"
  • Ash and Raimundo: (Laugh)
  • Steven: "That's enough of that, thank you, Ash and Raimundo. Off you go."
  • Ash and Raimundo: (Chuckle)
  • Ash: "Yes, sir."
  • Raimundo: "Right, sir."
  • (Whistles toot)
  • Steven: "Oh!"
  • Mark Moraghan: That night, Virgil stayed at the library so he could help with all the extra passengers in the morning."
  • Virgil: Evening, all."
  • Ash: Hello, Virgil. Nice to see you."
  • Raimundo: "Oh no! Not that old fuddy-duddy."
  • Mark Moraghan: Virgil liked to talk about the old days when he worked in Cloudsdale. Raimundo thought he was a bit annoying."
  • Virgil: You know, days like today remind me of summers back in Cloudsdale."
  • Raimundo: "Oh, here we go."
  • Virgil: We carried so many holidaymakers, they used to call it 'The Sunshine Route'. In those days, I used to work with Warners, Warners which could be unhooked without even stopping.
  • (People cheering)
  • Virgil: That way, we always ran on time, and there were never any delays."
  • Ash: Wow! I've never heard of Warners before."
  • Virgil: You had to be careful, though. Go too slow in the stations, and they'd bump into the back of you! It took a lot of skill and expert timing."
  • Raimundo: Pah! Sounds easy to me. Silly old teenage stories."
  • Virgil: There are two ways of doing things, Raimundo; the wrong way or the Teenage Way."
  • (Sakura arrives and sees that library is full)
  • Sakura: "Oh."
  • Steven: "Tomorrow is going to be our busiest day ever in YTV. I just don't know how we'll get everyone to their destinations on time."
  • Mark Morgahan: When Raimundo heard what Steven said, it gave him an idea."
  • Raimundo: I know what would help deliver all the passengers on time, sir. They're called Warners.
  • Steven: Warners? Go on, Raimundo.
  • Mark Moraghan: And Raimundo told Steven all about the Warners and how they help avoid delays."
  • Ash: Oh, wow!"
  • Kevin: Oh, look at that!"
  • Terry: Most impressive!"
  • Shaggy: They're incredible!"
  • Ash: Amazing!"
  • Alex: That's wonderful!"
  • Virgil: My old Warners! I don't believe it! Coo-ee hello!"
  • Steven: Settle down please, characters. Now to avoid confusion and delay on this very busy day, I have brought some special Warners named Yakko, Dot and Wakko across from the mainland. But it wasn't my idea. It was Raimundo's!
  • Virgil: What?"
  • Raimundo: That's right, sir. Thanks to me, there will be no delays in YTV today."
  • All: Hooray! Oh, yeah, Raimundo!
  • Steven: Ha-ha! Quite right, Raimundo. Off you go, all of you."
  • Virgil: But, I told Raimundo about the Warners. It was my idea."
  • Mark Moraghan: But no one was left to listen to Virgil. Feeling rather sad, he steamed away."
  • Virgil: Ohh."
  • Steven: Passengers, pay attention. Make sure you get onto the right character, the one that's stopping at your station."
  • Raimundo: All aboard! I'll get you there on time with my brand new Warners.
  • Mark Moraghan: Raimundo was very pleased with himself. He liked it when people waved at him."
  • People: "Hooray!"
  • Mark Moraghan: He thought he was very clever for working with the Warners.
  • Yakko: Do you think Raimundo knows what he's doing?"
  • Dot: I don't know."
  • Wakko: I hope so."
  • Mark Moraghan: Raimundo was approaching his first stop. Virgil was sad that it wasn't him working with the Warners.
  • Raimundo: "Prepare to unhook the rear character.
  • Virgil: Don't slow down too much in the station, Raimundo, or Wakko will bump into the back of you."
  • Raimundo: "Yes, yes. Thank you, Virgil. I know what to do. Release the Warner!"
  • Mark Moraghan: But Raimundo liked everyone to see his shiny brown hair, so he slowed down."
  • Raimundo: Hello, everybody. Glad to be of service."
  • Wakko: Ooh!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Wakko couldn't stop and bumped into the back of the other Warners.
  • Virgil: (Gasps)
  • Mark Moraghan: Luckily, no one was hurt, but after that, Yakko, Dot and Wakko refused to move."
  • Yakko: We won't go with Raimundo!
  • Dot: He doesn't know how to use Warners!
  • Wakko: No, not at all!"
  • Mark Moraghan: That was when Steven arrived and found the passengers all complaining and saying what a bad place Netflix was."
  • Steven: Oh, Raimundo. What have you done? These Warners were a terrible idea."
  • Raimundo: But, sir, they just take a bit of getting used to. That's all."
  • Virgil: Maybe I could help, sir?"
  • Mark Moraghan: Yakko, Dot and Wakko were overjoyed to see their old friend, Virgil.
  • Yakko, Dot and Wakko: Hello, Virgil!
  • Virgil: Hello, Warnies!
  • Steven: Do you mean to say you know these Warners, Virgil?
  • Virgil: Of course. I used to work with them in Cloudsdale, as I was telling Raimundo last night."
  • Mark Moraghan: Suddenly, Steven understood. Raimundo had only pretended to know about Warners. Really, it was all Virgil's idea."
  • Steven: Virgil, perhaps you would like to take the Warners around Netflix, it that's alright with them, of course."
  • Yakko: "Yay, Virgil!
  • Dot: Of course it is!"
  • Wakko: Capital idea!"
  • Mark Moraghan: So, Virgil took over working with Yakko, Dot and Wakko. And even though it was the busiest day Netflix had ever seen, thanks to Virgil and the Warners, everyone reached their destinations on time, and all the passengers agreed it was a very good town indeed."
  • Virgil: Evening, all."
  • Steven: Three cheers for Virgil and the Warners! Hip-hip!"
  • Everyone (except Raimundo): "Hooray!"
  • Steven: "Hip-hip!"
  • Everyone (except Raimundo): "Hooray!"
  • Steven: "Hip-hip!"
  • Everyone (except Raimundo): "Hooray!"
  • Virgil: It just goes to show there really are only two ways of doing things; the wrong way or..."
  • Everyone (except Raimundo and Sakura): "The Teenage way!" (Laugh)

Pietro's VIP

  • Mark Moraghan: It was early morning, and Ash and his friends were just waking up when Steven came to see them.
  • Steven: I want you all to be on your very best behavior today. A VIP is coming to Netflix.
  • Alex: "What's a V-eyed pea?"
  • Ash: "A VIP means a very important passenger, Alex.
  • Steven: That's right, Ash, and this VIP is a deputy minister who's presenting me with an award for..." (Clears throat) "services to Netflix.
  • All: (Cheer)
  • Terry: "Perhaps you would like me to collect this deputy minister, sir."
  • Steven: "I'm sorry, Terry, but Pietro is already bringing him."
  • Terry: "Pietro?! Oh, I might have known."
  • Pietro: "I'll have you there ahead of schedule, sir. I do know how important it is to be on time."
  • Deputy Minister: "Thank you, Pietro. Just keep your eyes on the path, please."
  • (Terry races through a station)
  • Man: "Oh, my hat! My hat!"
  • Narrator: "Pietro was going so fast trying to get the deputy minister to the town hall on time,"
  • Pietro: "Out of the way, slow coach!"
  • Narrator: "He forgot to pay attention to any of the signals."
  • Kevin: "Oh, such a show-off!"
  • Narrator: "At the junction, the signalman had set the points to send Kevin along the branch line, but Pietro arrived first. So Pietro was sent onto the branch line by mistake."
  • (Elephant trumpeting and animals chattering)
  • Deputy Minister: "Shouldn't we have reach the town hall by now, Pietro?
  • Pietro: "Perhaps I should put on more speed, sir."
  • Narrator: "But Pietro was no longer on the main line to the town hall. Pietro was on the branch line that let to the clay pits."
  • Pietro: "But how did I..."
  • Emmitt: "Hello, Pietro. What are you doing here?"
  • Pietro: "I don't know. There's been some mistake. Uh, sorry, sir, but we seemed to have ended up on the wrong path."
  • Bumpty: (Laughs) "Don't you want to take some clay changelings with you, Terry?"
  • Bumpty and Raphael: (Laughing)
  • Raphael: "That would be really useful."
  • Bumpty and Raphael: (Laughing)
  • Narrator: "By the time Terry finally arrived at the town hall, he was very late indeed."
  • Deputy Minister: "I came here to present you with a Netflix award, Steven, but I'm not very impressed with my transport so far, and I will not travel back to the mainland with this unicorn."
  • Terry: "Not to worry. I can take you back to the mainland, sir."
  • Steven: "Thank you, Terry, but I'll decide who's taking the deputy minister back at the end of the day."
  • Ash: "Maybe I'll be the one who takes the deputy minister back."
  • Raimundo: "You'll be lucky. Surely Steven will pick me!"
  • Terry: "Nonsense! You're both much too slow."
  • Ash and Raimundo: "We can go just as fast as you!"
  • Narrator: "That day, all the characters hurried about their work, trying to show how quick they could be. They all wanted to chosen to take the deputy minister back to the mainland. Pietro watch the other animals rush about. He was feeling very sorry for himself.
  • Pietro: "If only I hadn't been in such a hurry. If only I had tried to get my job done properly without showing off."
  • Narrator: "But it was the other characters who were showing off now."
  • Raimundo: (Laughs) "Sugar Cube Corner! Right on time."
  • (Raimundo stops so quickly)
  • Passengers: (Murmuring frightfully)
  • Terry: "Oh, ho-ho! Oh, Al, your poor passengers. You mustn't stop so quickly."
  • Raimundo: "Well, at least my passengers can step onto the platform, Terry.
  • Terry: "Oh."
  • Narrator: "By trying so hard to be fast, the characters were causing confusion and delay."
  • Virgil: Richie, what are you doing on my path?"
  • Richie: "Your path? Who said this is your path?"
  • Virgil: "There are two ways of doing things, Richie. The Teenage way and..."
  • Richie: "The wrong way. I know, and you're doing it the wrong way!"
  • Narrator: "All the characters were making silly mistakes, but Ash's mistakes were the silliest of all."
  • Bailey: Ash! What are you doing?"
  • Marina: "Fillies don't need gems!"
  • Ash: "Sorry!"
  • Narrator: "At the end of the day, Steven was very disappointed with his characters.
  • Steven: Everyone makes mistakes, but when you are showing off and in a hurry, you make far more mistakes than usual, and you have all been showing off! I don't think any of these characters deserve to take you home to the mainland, sir. Perhaps I can lend you my car."
  • Terry: "Oh, the indignity!"
  • Pietro: "Perhaps you'd let me take the deputy minister home after all."
  • Steven: You, Pietro?
  • Pietro: "I can learn from my mistakes, sir. I just need to be given one more chance."
  • Deputy Minister: "Pietro is right. Everyone deserves a second chance. I will forget what happened today, and maybe tomorrow I can come back and see how Netflix really runs."
  • Raimundo:"Yes, sir."
  • Ash: "Thank you, sir!"
  • Narrator: "So the next day, the deputy minister did come back, and all of Steven's characters showed him just how well Netflix could be run."
  • Deputy Minister: "Excellent, Steven! You run a very fine town indeed."
  • Steven: "I told you they were really useful characters."
  • All: "Hooray!"

Jason's Postcard: Bridges

  • Jason: Oh, hello again. We get a lot of letters in Netflix. People write to ask questions about the town, or to say hello to the animals, or sometimes because they have something to complain about. This letter is from a Mrs. Parsnip. She's a bit cross because her ride was delayed due to works on the paths. So Steven has asked me to write to her to explain. I'm going to send her this postcard of the bridges of Netflix. That outta cheer her up a bit. Dear Mrs. Parsnip, I'm sorry your ride was delayed due to bridge work being carried out onto the branch route. This just goes to show you how important most bridges are. There are many bridges in Netflix. Stone bridges, metal bridges and even bridges made of wood. Some bridges are for animals to go over, and some bridges are for characters to go under. And they're all there to help characters get where they want to go as quickly as possible. Without the suspension bridge, characters would have to wind slowly all the way down one side of the valley and up the other side again. That would take much longer. Without the rolling bridge, there would be no quick way to travel back and forth to the mainland. Passengers would have to wait to catch the ferry instead. Without the road and rail bridges, characters would have to stop and wait at level crossings all the time. So you can see how important the bridges are, but it is also important to keep the railway safe. So sometimes, maintenance work be done for both on the path and on the bridges. And unfortunately, that could mean journeys would take longer. But it only goes to remind us how really useful bridges are. Yours sincerely, Jason Lee Scott. Right. Better get this in the post quickly. I'll put it in the postbox as soon as I get back to the town hall. See you again soon. Goodbye."

Old Reliable Kevin

  • Mark Moraghan: Kevin is one of the older characters on the land of Netflix. He is the leader of the Game Master, which means sometimes he guides dogs, and sometimes he carries Beedrill. He's not the smallest character, but he's not that big either. Some of the bigger characters like to tease Kevin, especially Terry.
  • Terry: It's a shame you're such an old character, Scott. You're not very reliable."
  • Kevin: What do you mean?"
  • Terry: "You know, getting injured all the time."
  • Kevin: "I haven't been injured in ages."
  • Terry: "Oh, really?"
  • Mark Moraghan: "Steven knows that Kevin is a really useful character. And that is why he's given him is own route; the route that runs to the Crystal Empire. One day, Terry was taking the express coaches up Terry's Hill, when he thought he saw a red flag blowing beside the path."
  • Terry: "Oh no. That's a danger signal. I'd better stop. That's not a danger signal, those are red..."
  • Mark Moraghan: "It was a pair of pants that had blown off a washing line. Then there was trouble. Terry couldn't start up again on the steep hill with his long heavy express coaches.
  • Terry: "Oh."
  • Mark Moraghan: "Kevin had just arrived at Sugar Cube Corner when the stationmaster stopped him."
  • Stationmaster: "Terry is stuck on his hill. He needs a banker animal to give him push."
  • Kevin: "Not again. And he says I'm the one that's unreliable. Honestly."
  • Mark Moraghan: "Terry was waiting very impatiently for Kevin when Sakura came along."
  • Sakura: "Having a rest, are you, Terry?
  • Terry: "I wish Kevin would get here and give me a push before anymore characters see me."
  • Ash: Oh dear, Terry. (Laughs) "I see you got stuck on your hill again."
  • Terry: "It wasn't my fault, Ash. There were some red pants by the path, and they looked like a danger signal."
  • Ash: "Red pants? Danger signal?"
  • Ash, Bailey and Marina: (Laugh)
  • Terry: "Humph!"
  • Mark Moraghan: "By the time Kevin arrived, Terry was rather cross."
  • Terry: "You took your time, Kevin! You're so old and slow, I'm surprise Steven keeps you on!"
  • Ash: "You're not moving very quickly yourself, Terry."
  • Mark Moraghan: "Terry was still fumming as Kevin pushed him up the hill."
  • Kevin: (Grunting)
  • Terry: "Express coming through!"
  • Kevin: "Aren't you even gonna say 'thank you'? Why is Terry so ungrateful? He doesn't even say 'thank you' when I give him a push. He only says how old and unreliable I am."
  • Ash: "Maybe it's time we taught that big character a lesson."
  • Mark Moraghan: "That night, in the library, Ash and the other characters were teasing Terry about what had happened."
  • Ash: "And, the only reason he stopped was because he saw some red pants."
  • All: (Laugh)
  • Kevin: Terry claims to be fast and reliable, but he still needed my help to get over the hill."
  • Terry: "I didn't really need your help, Kevin. You just happened to be there. That's all. I'm very reliable and exceedingly fast."
  • Ash: "Is that so? I'd like to see you go faster than me."
  • All: (Gasp)
  • Terry: (Laughs) "Go faster than you? Don't be silly, Ash. That's too easy."
  • Ash: "Very well. You just try and follow me tomorrow morning."
  • Terry: "No problem at all. I'll even give you a 10 minute head start."
  • Mark Moraghan: "The other characters thought Ash was being very silly if you thought he could go faster than Terry. The next morning, Ash met Terry at the town hall as agreed."
  • Ash: Ready, Terry.
  • Terry: "You'd better get going, Ash. I did promise you a 10 minute head start, remember?"
  • Ash: (Laughs) "I remember."
  • Bailey: I do hope you know what you're doing, Ash.
  • Marina: "We don't want to look silly."
  • Ash: "Don't worry. Everything is under control." (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: "Ash was out ahead on the main path, but he knew Terry was going to catch up soon."
  • Marina: Ash, I can see Terry behind us. He's going to pass us."
  • Ash: "We'll see about that."
  • (Ash changes paths)
  • Terry: "Pull onto the other path, Ash. Express coming through!"
  • Ash: "Oh no! That's not what we agreed, Terry. You said you'd follow me across the town."
  • Terry: "Follow you? But, but... Oh! Can't you go any faster?"
  • Mark Morgahan: "Ash could go faster, but he didn't. And when they got to Terry's Hill, Ash started to go even slower."
  • Terry: "Speed up, Ash! Speed up! I don't want to get stuck again."
  • Mark Moraghan: "But Ash didn't speed up. He went slower, and slower until..."
  • Terry: "No! I'm stuck again!"
  • Ash: (Laughs) "It looks like I'm going faster than you after all." (Chuckles)
  • Terry: "Ohhh!"
  • Kevin: "Hello, Terry. Have you given up following Ash already?"
  • Terry: Ash tricked me, Kevin. He went too slow."
  • Kevin: "Oh dear. But I must say, you don't seem very reliable always getting stuck on your own hill."
  • Terry: "Wait! Kevin! You need to give me a push."
  • Kevin: "Oh! But I thought you didn't need any help from me. After all, I'm so old and unreliable."
  • Terry: "But I do need your help. I promise not to call you old or unreliable anymore. Please!"
  • Kevin: "Okay, Terry. I think you've learned your lesson now. And what do you say?"
  • Terry: "Oh, the indignity."
  • Kevin: "Sorry?"
  • Terry: "I mean thank you. Thank you, Kevin!
  • Kevin: "You're welcome, Terry. Any time."
