• (Then we see the Thomas and Friends Season 7 intro)
• (After that, we begin the character introduction)
• Michael Brandon: Thomas is a really useful engine. Here's Percy. He is a very happy engine. James is a magnificent engine. Gordon is the most fastest engine on the Island of Sodor. Henry is long and fast. Here's Edward always here to help. Toby is a different engine. He's a tram engine.
• (A passing by sequence occurs and we begin The Runaway Elephant)
• Michael Brandon: The engines on the Island of Sodor were excited. A new park was being built. Everyone was working hard to get the job finished on time. Duncan was feeling impatient.
• Duncan: Get a move on slow coach.
• Michael Brandon: He puffed crossly to Rusty.
• Duncan: You're so slow I finished first.
• Michael Brandon: He boasted to Skarloey. Skarloey was cross. A little later, he met Rusty at the new park station.
• Skarloey: Duncan thinks he's fast.
• Michael Brandon: Skarloey steamed.
• Skarloey: But he's just a bossy boiler.
• Rusty: Better safe and fast.
• Michael Brandon: Rusty agreed. Duncan drove into the station. He was all puffed up and pleased with himself.
• Duncan: I've finished first.
• Michael Brandon: He wheeshed proudly.
• Sir Topham Hatt: In that case.
• Michael Brandon: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
• Sir Topham Hatt: I got another job for you. You are to collect the elephant from the sidings and take it to the park.
• Duncan: Yes, sir!
• Michael Brandon: Chuffed Duncan.
• Sir Topham Hatt: This elephant is very important. You must be very careful.
• Michael Brandon: When Duncan saw the elephant, he was surprised.
• Duncan: Why it's only a statue.
• Michael Brandon: He said.
• Duncan: This is an easy job.
• Stationmaster: You must wait for the brakevan.
• Michael Brandon: Said the stationmaster.
• Stationmaster: The statue is very heavy.
• Duncan: Nonsense.
• Michael Brandon: Said Duncan to his driver.
• Duncan: I pushed heavier loads than this plenty of time.
• Duncan's Driver: Let's go, Duncan.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver.
• Duncan's Driver: But we must be careful.
• Michael Brandon: So they left, but without the brakevan. But Duncan wasn't careful. He was impatient.
• Duncan: We'll show them how fast I can be.
• Michael Brandon: Duncan whistled.
• Duncan: We'll deliver this statue and I'll still finish first.
• Michael Brandon: Duncan started to speed up. Soon, Duncan was going as fast as his wheels could carry him. His driver was starting to worry. So he tried to brake. But Duncan was out of control. He was scared. He had never gone this fast. People waved and cars tooted as Duncan sped by. Suddenly, a tractor trundled across Duncan's line.
• Duncan's Driver: Look out!
• Michael Brandon: Shouted his driver.
• (Duncan and the statue pass the tractor and approach Rusty)
• Rusty: Slow down, slow down!
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Rusty.
• Duncan: I can't!
• Michael Brandon: Duncan cried as he shot past.
• Duncan: Whoa!
• Michael Brandon: Elephant park loomed ahead. Duncan's driver applied the brakes, but it was too late. The statue flew into the air and landed in the lake. Luckily, nobody was hurt. In no time, Sir Topham Hatt arrived. He was cross.
• Sir Topham Hatt: I told you to be careful. You shouldn't waited for the brakevan.
• Michael Brandon: He said sternly.
• Duncan: I'm sorry, Sir.
• Michael Brandon: Mumbled Duncan. He felt very embarrassed. Duncan was repaired again in time for the grand opening. He was still surprised to see the elephant standing in the lake.
• Lady Hatt: Everyone loves the elephant in the lake.
• Michael Brandon: Said Lady Hatt.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Even if it was a mistake.
• Michael Brandon: Added Sir Topham Hatt.
• Engines: Hooray for Duncan's mistake!
• Michael Brandon: Cheered the engines. Duncan blushed and went a deep shade red.
• (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin Down By The Docks)
• Children: (singing) Down by the docks, that's the place to be, Down by the docks, gateway to the sea, Down by the dockside, we are the team, Working together, just like family. Down by the docks, you're never on your own, Down by the docks, it's really home from home, Down by the dockside, down by the dockside. Down by the dockside, is where we want to be. Salty! Chief Diesel at the docks, He's the tough guy. He's the one who sorts the trucks. He's the one to see, in emergencies... He's the one to see. Tirelessly working, never complaining, Part of the dockside team... Cranky! Looking down on everyone, Always working. Lifting cargo by the ton. And he's up so high, he can reach the sky... Part of the dockside team. Whatever the weather, you'll see him out there, Part of the dockside team... • Henry: Hurry up, I'm a busy engine.
• Michael Brandon: Huffed Henry. Goods arrive night and day at the docks. Sometimes, Henry and the other engines work so hard that their axles ache. Sir Topham Hatt brought in a new engine to help with the heavy work load. He was long and had 10 drive wheels. He looked very strong.
• Sir Topham Hatt: This is Murdoch. He's going to be pulling on the main line.
• Salty: Ahoy, matey!
• Michael Brandon: Shouted Salty.
• Harvey: Welcome, Murdoch!
• Michael Brandon: Called Harvey.
• Thomas: You're the biggest engine I've ever seen.
• Michael Brandon: Cried Thomas.
• Murdoch: You're a chatty lot.
• Michael Brandon: Murdoch said quietly. Soon, Murdoch was coupled to a long, long line of heavy freight cars. His boiler strained, his wheels started to turn and the mighty engine chuffed away. Murdoch longed for some peace and quiet. But everywhere he went, it was noisy and crowded. At the end of the day, Murdoch was looking forward to a good night's rest. But Salty and Harvey were full of questions.
• Harvey: What's the longest train you've ever pulled?
• Salty: Have you ever worked might say?
• Harvey: Have you ever crashed?
• Murdoch: Please, I want some peace and quiet and I don't want to share a shed with chatterboxes.
• Harvey: No need to be rude.
• Michael Brandon: Huffed Harvey.
• Salty: Hey, we're only being friendly matey.
• Michael Brandon: The next morning, Murdoch collected another long heavy train. This time, he chuffed into the beautiful countryside. It was splendid. At last he had some peace and quiet. Suddenly, his driver applied the brakes. There were sheep on the tracks.
• Murdoch's Driver: The sheep escaped from that field.
• Michael Brandon: Said the driver.
• Murdoch's Driver: Through that broken fence.
• Michael Brandon: The driver and the fireman tried to chase the sheep back. First this way and then that way. They tried everything, but nothing worked.
• Murdoch's Fireman: We'll never move these sheep by ourselves.
• Michael Brandon: Complained the fireman.
• Murdoch's Driver: I'll go and phone for help.
• Michael Brandon: Sighed the driver. Murdoch was very unhappy. The noisy sheep were spoiling his peace and quiet. Sir Topham Hatt was enjoying afternoon tea when he got the call.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Sheep!?
• Michael Brandon: He exclaimed loudly.
• Sir Topham Hatt: I'll send Toby with the farmer immediately.
• Michael Brandon: The sheep were becoming noisier and noisier.
• Murdoch: Please stop!
• Michael Brandon: Groaned Murdoch.
• Murdoch: I'd rather be back with the chatterbox engines.
• Michael Brandon: Just then, Toby chuffed into view.
• Murdoch: Toby!
• Michael Brandon: Exclaimed Murdoch.
• Murdoch: We're certainly glad to see you.
• Michael Brandon: Before long the farmer and his dog went to work and the sheep were soon safely in their field and Murdoch was on his way again.
• Murdoch: Thanks, Toby.
• Michael Brandon: That evening, Murdoch parked between Harvey and Salty. But Murdoch spoke first.
• Murdoch: I'm sorry that I was cross.
• Michael Brandon: He chuffed.
• Murdoch: I'm very pleased to share a shed with you.
• Harvey: And we're very pleased to have your company.
• Michael Brandon: Said Harvey.
• Salty: Aye we are.
• Michael Brandon: Added Salty.
• Salty: It reminds me of a story.
• Michael Brandon: Murdoch smiled. The sound of baa, baa would have kept him awake. But a Salty story would send him happily to sleep.
• (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin Percy's Seaside Trip)
• (Rooster crows)
• Children: (singing) The sun is shining, it's a lovely day. It won't be long before we're on our way. The guard is waiting, flag in hand. He blows his whistle, we're off to sea and sand. The sky is blue, there's not a cloud in sight, So much excitement, didn't sleep all night. Now Percy's rushing trough the countryside, With people waving as we (peep peep) whistle by. Seaside, we're off to the seaside. Ice cream in cones, Candy floss on your nose. Seaside, we're off to the seaside, We're gonna have a lovely day. Just one more hill to climb and we'll be there. Sounds of the seaside start to fill the air. Then someone shouts out excitedly.
• Girl: "Look over there, everybody, I can see the sea!"
• Children: (singing) Seaside, we're off to the seaside, Buckets and spades, all the fairground arcades. Seaside, we're off to the seaside, We're gonna have a lovely day. And when it's cold in wintertime, Still you can be there any time. Just close your eyes, count 1-2-3, Dream your dream and once again be by the sea. Sir Topham Hatt arrives to greet the train. He is so pleased that Percy's right on time. So much excitement, so much glee. We're all together with Percy by the sea. Seaside, we're all at the seaside, Building sandcastles with buckets and spades. Seaside, we're all at the seaside. Oh, what a lovely, lovely, day. Seaside, we're all at the seaside, Picnics and paddling, swimming all day. Seaside, we're all at the seaside, Oh, what a lovely, lovely day. Thank you, Percy, for such a lovely day.
• (Children cheering)
• (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin Fergus Breaks The Rules)
• Michael Brandon: Thomas and Fergus the Traction Engine are friends. Fergus is the pride of the cement works. Fergus knows all the rules and obeys them. One day, Sir Topham Hatt brought Devious Diesel to the cement works.
• Sir Topham Hatt: I need Diesel to help for a while. Fergus please show him around.
• Fergus: Yes.
• Michael Brandon: Said Fergus unhappily. He knew that Diesel could be trouble. Later, Diesel was being careless.
• Fergus: Not like that!
• Michael Brandon: Snapped Fergus.
• Fergus: Do it right.
• Diesel: Don't interfere.
• Michael Brandon: Sneered Diesel.
• (Quarry dust falls on Diesel)
• Fergus: You don't know the rules!
• Michael Brandon: Shouted Fergus. Diesel was very annoyed with Fergus and started plotting a devious plan. Later that day, he pretended to have news for Fergus.
• Diesel: Sir Topham Hatt wants you to work at the smelters.
• Fergus: Me? But I'm the pride of the cement works.
• Diesel: Not anymore. Sir Topham Hatt says I'm better than you. So I'm going to stay here.
• Fergus: It's not fair. I love working here.
• Michael Brandon: But he knew that really useful engines have to do as they are told.
• Diesel: (laughs maniacally)
• Michael Brandon: Fergus and his driver arrived at the smelters.
• Fergus: I wanna go back to the cement works.
• Michael Brandon: Wailed Fergus.
• Fergus: None of the other engines like coming here it's so scary.
• Fergus' Driver: You're right.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver. Just then, the scrap diesels arrived.
• Arry: Hello.
• Bert: Are you happy to be here?
• Fergus: No!
• Michael Brandon: Cried Fergus. His driver was scared too.
• Fergus' Driver: Come on, Fergus, we're going to escape.
• Michael Brandon: And for the first time, Fergus broke the rules. Sir Topham Hatt was enjoying a tasty fish supper when he heard that Fergus was missing.
• Sir Topham Hatt: That's not like Fergus. There must be something wrong. I will send Thomas to look for him.
• Michael Brandon: Fergus and his driver turn onto an unused track to find a place to hide. Fergus was frightened, so was Thomas. He puffed up and down the line. He couldn't see Fergus anywhere.
• Thomas' Driver: We could search the old mine track.
• Michael Brandon: Said his driver.
• Thomas: That line is dark and spooky.
• Michael Brandon: Whispered Thomas. But he had to be brave and find Fergus. Fergus was on a siding. His fire had gone out. Then, he heard a sound.
• Fergus: It's an engine!
• Michael Brandon: He cried.
• Thomas: Fergus.
• Michael Brandon: Whistled Thomas.
• Thomas: Whatever are you doing out here?
• Fergus: Hiding. Don't wanna work at the smelters. Sir Topham Hatt is going to be cross with me.
• Thomas: He's not.
• Michael Brandon: Cried Thomas.
• Thomas: He's worried about you.
• Fergus: Really?
• Thomas: Of course.
• Michael Brandon: Puffed Thomas. Fergus felt better. Thomas pulled Fergus all the way to the smelters yard where he knew Sir Topham Hatt was waiting.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Fergus, explain yourself.
• Fergus: I ran away. It's scary here.
• Thomas: Diesel told Fergus that he wanted him at the smelters forever.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Nonsense, Fergus, you are the pride of the cement works. I shall send Diesel to the smelters and you can go back to the cement works tomorrow.
• Fergus: Oh, thank you, sir.
• Michael Brandon: Said Fergus happily. Fergus knew he had a good friend in Thomas and he was still the pride of the cement works.
• (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin There Once Was An Engine Who Ran Away)
• Man: (singing) There once was an engine who ran away, Just up and went, And ran away, ran away. Stacked up his tender, and headed down the line, Toot toot, farewell, goodbye!
• Children: (singing) He overheard the wicked old Diesel say, He was heading for the scrapyard any day.
• Man: (singing) He didn't wanna wait for the fateful day. So the little old engine ran away.
• Children: (singing) He huffed and he puffed, his wheels started turning, He chuffed and he chuffed, his little firebox burning, He slipped his brake, let his whistle fly, Toot toot, farewell, goodbye!
• Children and Man (singing) And the little old engine ran away, Just up and went, And ran away, ran away.
• Man: (singing) Didn't feel part of the railway.
• Children and Man: (singing) So the little old engine ran away.
• (Owl hoots)
• Children: (singing) And when the other engines heard he'd gone, They felt so sad, 'cos they knew he had gone and gone. No matter what Diesel had to say, Sir Topham Hatt has the final say.
• Man: (singing) So he thought and he thought, Where could he be, could he be?
• Children: (singing) Some searched high, the others searched low.
• Children and Man: (singing) Where did he run, where did he run? We gotta bring the little engine home.
• Man: (singing) So they all went out to look around, Far and wide, and up and down No matter where they searched, no one seemed to know.
• Children and Man (singing) Oh where did the little old engine go? Thomas finally tracked him down, He was cold and blue, and all alone.
• Man: He told him he was needed back urgently.
• Boy: "Who me, really?"
• Girl: "Yes you, you silly engine!"
• Children and Man: (singing) 'Cos he's the pride of the railway!
• Man: (singing) So he huffed and he puffed, His wheels started turning,
• Children and Man: (singing) He chuffed and he chuffed his little firebox burning,
• Man: (singing) He slipped his brake and was on his way, Toot toot, hip hip, hooray!
• Children and Man: (singing) Now the little old engine's heading home, To toots and cheers, hear the whistles blow. 'Cos now he's the pride of the railway!
• Girl: "Look everybody! Here comes Fergus!"
• Children: "Hooray!"
• Children and Man: (singing) Yes the little old engine's coming home!
• (Following the last song, we find the end credits with Thomas looking at us)
