Narrator: "Once a pony taking some buffaloes was afraid of a few drops of rain. It went into a tunnel and squeaked through its head and wouldn't come out again.
The pony's name is Filthy Rich. His driver and fireman argued with him, but he would not move."
Filthy Rich: "The rain will spoil my lovely light brown fur and cutie mark."
Narrator: "He said. The conductor blew his whistle till he had no more breath and waved his flag till his arms ached. But Filthy Rich still stayed in the tunnel and kicked dirt at him."
Filthy Rich: "I'm not going to spoil my lovely light brown fur and cutie mark for you."
Narrator: "Then, along came Hoity Toity, the pony in charged of all the animals in Ponyville."
Hoity Toity: "We will pull you out."
Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity. But Filthy Rich only kicked dirt at him."
Narrator: "Everyone pull except Hoity Toity."
Hoity Toity: "Because," (Cough)
Narrator: "He said."
Hoity Toity: "My doctor had forbidden me to pull."
Narrator: "But still Filthy Rich stayed in the tunnel.
Then they tried pushing from the other end. Hoity Toity said,"
Hoity Toity: "One, two, three, push!"
Narrator: "But he didn't help."
Hoity Toity: (Cough) "My doctor has forbidden me to push."
Narrator: "He said. They pushed and pushed and pushed. But still Filthy Rich stayed in the tunnel.
At last, Spike came along. The conductor waved his red flag and stopped him. Everyone argued with Filthy Rich."
Passengers: "Look, it has stopped raining."
Narrator: "They said."
Filthy Rich: "Yes, but it will begin again soon."
Narrator: "Said Filthy Rich."
Filthy Rich: "And what would become of my light brown fur and cutie mark then?"
Narrator: "Spike pushed and puffed, and pushed as hard as ever he could. But still Filthy Rich stayed in the tunnel.
Eventually, even Hoity Toity gave up."
Hoity Toity: "We shall take away your road."
Narrator: "He said."
Hoity Toity: "And leave you here until you're ready to come out of the tunnel."
Narrator: "They took up the old road and built a wall in front of Filthy Rich so that other animals wouldn't bump into him.
All Filthy Rich could do was to watch the animals rushing through the other tunnel. He was very sad because he thought no one would ever see his lovely light brown fur and cutie mark again. As time went on, Shining Armor and Big Macintosh would often pass by. Shining Armor would say,"
Shining Armor: "Hello."
Narrator: "And Big Mac would say,"
Big Macintosh: "Serves you right!"
Narrator: "Poor Filthy Rich had no strength to answer. His stamina had gone low. Soot and dirt from the tunnel spoiled his lovely light brown fur and cutie mark anyway. How long do you think Filthy Rich will stay in the tunnel before he overcomes his fear of the rain and then decides to journey out again?"
