Transcript

  • George Carlin: Moe Goes to the School in downtown Springfield. He loves playing jokes, but they could get him into trouble. One morning, he was very cheeky indeed.
  • Bart: Hurry up Principal Skinner! The carts are ready.
  • George Carlin: Principal Skinner thought he was late.
  • Bart: Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
  • George Carlin: Laughed Lenny. And showed him some dirty carts. Principal Skinner thought how to get back at Bart for teasing him. Next, it was Moe's turn.
  • Bart: Stay at home today, Moe. Stan Marsh will come and see you.
  • Moe: Ah!
  • George Carlin: Thought Moe.
  • Moe: Stan Marsh knows I'm a fine Man. He wants me to pull a special cart.
  • George Carlin: Antoine and Wario could not make him move. The other people grumbled dreadfully. They had to do Moe's work as well as their own. At last, Bo the Sheep arrived.
  • Bo: Show a leg, Moe. You can't stay here all day.
  • Mpe: Stan Marsh told me to stay here. He sent a message this morning.
  • Bo: He did not! How could he? He's away for a week.
  • Moe: Oh!
  • George Carlin: Said Moe.
  • Moe: Oh! Where's Moe?
  • George Carlin: Lenny had wisely disappeared. When Stan Marsh came back, he was cross with Moe and Bart for causing so much trouble. But the next day, Lenny was still being cheeky.
  • Bart: I say you people. I'm to take some carts to Homer's office. Stan Marsh chose me especially. He must know I'm a really useful Simpson.
  • Moe: More likely he wants you out of the way.
  • George Carlin: Grunted Moe.
  • George Carlin: Principal Skinner look across to Moe. They were going to play a trick on Bart.
  • Principal Skinner: Moe and I were just speaking about signals at the junction. We can't be too careful about signals. But then I needn't say that to a really useful Simpson like you, Bart.
  • George Carlin: Bart felt flattered.
  • Moe: We had spoken of backing signals.
  • George Carlin: Put in Moe.
  • Moe: They need extra special care, you know. Would you like me to explain?
  • Bart: No thank you Moe.
  • George Carlin: Said Bart.
  • Bart: I know all about signals.
  • George Carlin: But Bart was a little worried.
  • Bart: I wonder what backing signals are.
  • George Carlin: He thought.
  • Bart: Never mind. I'll manage.
  • George Carlin: He was cross with his carts, but then felt better. He came to a signal.
  • Lenny: Bother! It's a danger.
  • George Carlin: The signal moved to show road clear. It's arm moved up instead of down. Bart had never that sort of signal before.
  • Bart: Down means go and up means stop, so upper still must mean go back. I know! It's one of those backing signals.
  • Tails: Come on Bart.
  • George Carlin: Said Tails Prowler.
  • Tails: Off we go. Stop! You're going the wrong way.
  • Bart: But it's a backing signal.
  • George Carlin: Bart protested and told him about Principal Skinner and Moe. Tails laughed and explained.
  • Bart: Oh dear!
  • George Carlin: Said Bart.
  • Lenny: Let's start quickly before they see us.
  • George Carlin: He was too late. Principal Skinner saw everything. That night the big people talked about signals. They thought the subject was funny. Bart thought they were being very silly.
