  • George Carlin: Professor Frink the Scientist was enjoying his working in the orchard. Birds were singing and apples were growing on the trees. It was splendid day.
  • Moe: Hello Professor Frink.
  • George Carlin: Said Moe.
  • Moe: You look as bright and cheerful as my clothes.
  • Professor Frink: Oh I am.
  • George Carlin: Replied Professor Frink.
  • Moe: What's that noise?
  • Professor Frink: It's the bees.
  • George Carlin: Replied Professor Frink.
  • Professor Frink: They're all in these boxy things called beehives. I'm taking them to the station. Big Mac says his bees make good honey and is giving some of them to his friends.
  • George Carlin: Just then, Kent Brockman hummed in.
  • Kent: Take care you too. Don't make the bees angry. They might sting you.
  • George Carlin: Moe didn't like being told what to do by a news reporter and he buzzed away.
  • Kent: Goodbye Professor Frink.
  • George Carlin: Called Kent. And set off to see Mr. Smithers at the School. Rod & Todd, the Flander kids were busy arranging robots. Then they scampered off when they saw Kent.
  • Kent: I remember the first time I met those two.
  • George Carlin: Laughed Kent.
  • Kent: They nearly made my eyes popped out. Ned Flanders soon put a stop to their games.
  • Mr. Smithers: Ned is the only one who can keep Rod & Todd in order.
  • George Carlin: Chuckled Mr. Smithers.
  • Mr. Smithers: I sometimes called them 'the bees'.
  • Kent: A good name.
  • George Carlin: Said Kent.
  • Kent: They're terrors when they start buzzing around.
  • George Carlin: Moe rushed in.
  • Moe: What's that Mr. Smithers? Are you afraid of bees? They're only insects after all. So don't let that buzz box man tell you different!
  • Mr. Smithers: His name is Kent Brockman and he didn't. We . . .
  • Moe: I wouldn't care if hundreds were flying around. I'd just blow smoke and make them buzz off.
  • Mr. Smithers: Buzz, Buzz, Buzz!
  • George Carlin: Retorted Mr. Smithers. The next day, Moe at the Bar to collect his wagons. The passengers were excited and quickly got on board. The hallway was crowded and Rotor was in a hurry.
  • Rotor: Mind your backs!
  • George Carlin: He shouted. Then there was trouble. The beehive fell and broke open. The station cleared like magic. Moe heard a familiar buzzing. The bees were too cold to be cross. So they buzzed around Roy hoping he would mend their hive. But he didn't understand. Nor did Antoine. So the bees turned to Moe. His stomach was nice and warm.
  • Moe: Buzz off! Buzz off!
  • George Carlin: Hissed Moe. One bee burned his foot.
  • Bee: Oh, ow! ow!
  • George Carlin: The bee thought Moe had burned him on purpose. So it stung Moe right back on the nose.
  • Moe: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
  • George Carlin: Shouted Moe! He had had enough. So had Roy and Antoine. They didn't know till too late that they had left they wagons behind. They tried everything to get rid of the bees. First they spun on the turntable, but that didn't work. They try washing them off, but the bees hanged harder on Moe's warm stomach. Then they tried blowing them off by going through a long tunnel. But still the bees wouldn't go away.
  • Antoine: It's no good Moe.
  • George Carlin: Said Antoine.
  • Antoine: We'll just have to go back to the orchard and get another hive.
  • George Carlin: Moe's replied was drowned by the sound of buzzing. Big Mac was waiting anxiously for Moe. When he arrived the bees went straight to their new home.
  • Antoine: Come on Moe.
  • George Carlin: Said Antoine.
  • Antoine: What you need now is a good hose down.
  • George Carlin: Later that evening, Moe was resting in the shed when Big Mac came to see him.
  • Big Mac: Thank you for saving my bees. It's a pity it's not Christmas. Then we can call you 'Moe the Red-Nosed Man.'
  • George Carlin: Everyone laughed even Moe. But instead they decided to call Moe 'The Bees-knees'. Which means they thought he was more useful than ever.
