The War of Legends, also called the First Fulnarak, was a relatively short war between two ancient powers, the Kruktur and the Fulna, in the year 0. The only primary sources of this war come from Hudnar legends, Wars of the Fulna, and several legends of inhabitants of the Sommur-Kai Universe, so the facts are not clearly known.

It came from an interuniversal portal on Sommur-Kai in the year 0: a shadow of destruction ready to engulf all races, all worlds, and all universes. The Fulna spread their terror from world to unsuspecting world. And yet, with every planet they left in ruin, every race they left dead in their wake, their bloodlust only grew. They took pleasure only in death, and their power came from others' pain. None of the puny civilizations they encountered had the strength to resist them.
The tendrils of the Fulna spread far and grew long. Eventually, they reached a wormhole to Kurhakt and sent their vast attack force in search of more to conquer and more to kill. So the shadows came upon the Hudnar of Hukt, a military society at the center of the civilized world. But the Fulna underestimated them, for they were the favored race of Zakruktur, and he sent the Kruktur to defend the Hudnar and vanquish the Fulna. There, at the Battle of Hukt, the Fulna gave way and fled to Sommur-Kai, pursued by the Kruktur.
But on Sommur-Kai there waited a trap. From the interuniversal portal came forth the Lord of the Fulna, called Psarktur and Ish. He summoned power from his empire to create for himself a great machine with a mind of its own called Terotroth. This Death Machine drove the Kruktur back to Hukt upon their arrival at Sommur-Kai.
Here, at the Second Battle of Hukt, the Hudnar, under Zakruktur's protection, battled Psarktur while the Kruktur struggled with Terotroth. The Hudnar and Kruktur won in the end. Psarktur was sealed in an impenetrable tomb on the poisoned world of Fulnavaith, and Terotroth was forced back into Fulnaplex through the interuniversal portal on Sommur-Kai. The portal was sealed and the first Fulnarak ended.
