{We see a full map of the Island of Sodor.}
Narrator: Once upon a time there was an island called Sodor. It is sometimes known as the North Western Railway, or the North Western Region of British Railways. Lots of engines run it, but recently, a new generation has sprung up.
{Cut to Knapford Station. A stout man in a black coat, a yellow vest, a black tie, gray trousers, and a black top hat.}
Narrator: And running this railway was a little fat man who-
Sir Topham Hatt: Hey you! I will have you know I am not fat! I am just big boned.
Narrator: Sorry. Ahem! His name was Sir Topham Hatt. And he had a fantastic dream. Anyway, his dream was to run the region.
Sir Topham Hatt: Actually it’s just to impress my friends.
Narrator: SILENCE!!!! Anyway, he started his dream by buying the North Western Railway. But he already owned, since he was the fifth guy with the Fat Hatt name.
Sir Topham Hatt: Wait a minute! I'm rich? Oh, yeah! I see my engines coming.
Thomas Jr: I'm Thomas Jr.
May: I'm his sister, May
Sir Topham Hatt: I'm sure those names fit you nicely. How about I change your names?
Stuart: Talk to the parents.
Sir Topham Hatt: That's not all. I bought three tank engines from the Western region as well.
Billy: Hello, I'm Billy, Percy's son.
