The "Thomas Mini Series" is a model railway series, first made in 20th March 2011, shown on YouTube on the ComediTv37 Channel. The Series is based onto the episodes of "The Railway Series" by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry. Series 2 Credit Opening

The Series most famous episode on September 2011 was Episode 4 "Thomas & The Boulder", it made an astounsting hit of 1,000,000 views and now is still rising. This was founded by ComediTv37 that he never seen one of his videos rise quicker than ever before. Series 1 of the Thomas Mini Series had changed between Episode 4 "Thomas & The Boulder" and Episode 5 "A Close Shave for Thomas" because of the intro has changed from the audio and setting of the intro from the old song"Are You Looking at Me? - Ricky Tomlinson" to the "Thomas & Friends Series 2 intro audio".

The Episodes of the Thomas Mini Series, Series 1 have been repeats/ Paradies of older episodes in the Railway Series but only changed by superaaronreview98 storymaking, but up to Series 2 the episodes are selfmade by ComediTv37 & superaaronreview98.

Up Episode 5, the series have been using ERTL Thomas and Friends models. But up till then James have never made another apperance, but according to ComediTv37's Episode List, James would be making another apperance in Series 2.

Characters

  • In Episode 1 and 2, only James appeared as the only main character making him in the centre as for the question "Why is the Thomas Mini Series called the Thomas Mini Series if it hasn't got thomas?". Thomas firstly appeared on Episode 3 "Percy Comes to Breakfast" by making it The Thomas Mini Series

Thomas Image

"Thomas" is a young cheeky tank engine that lives at the big station, in the yard. Thomas is based on a LBSCR E2 0-6-0T that used to work onto yards. Thomas is young, exictable and sharing engine that is best-friends with Percy and Toby. Thomas as regarding as the most famous young train in the world, Thomas in the Thomas Mini Series is as the same as thhe Thomas from the television series "Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends" Thomas also gives some dark times like in one of the episodes in Series 2

  • First Appearance: Episode 3, Percy Comes to Breakfast

Percy Image (in Series 2)

"Percy" is a hyper, younger engine like Thomas but only 1 year younger than thomas. Percy is a young, niave Avonside 0-4-0ST that was built to work on docksides of busy habours, Percy has a wonder and passion of exploring, but he often gets into trouble. Percy like the same on the television series, is a wonderous engine that often doesn't like getting dirty! Percy often gets puzzed with words when the Fat Controller explains the plot for a episode. Like Thomas, Percy will also have dark time in one of the episodes in Series 2.

  • First Appearance: Episode 3, Percy Comes to Breakfast

Duck Image

"Duck" is a clever, young tank engine that has lots of experiance on railways like the Sodor Railway and the Great Weston Railway. Duck is actually called Montague but is nicknamed "Duck", on television series "Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends" and Book series "The Railway Series" he says the the others say "he waddles". The guess is found that "the others" must be his old friends from the GWR. Duck is a GWR 0-6-0PT that was built for long carriage rides and frieght work. In the Upcoming Between the Rails, Duck has a cockney accent, this shows that Duck would have good lifetime in Britain.

  • First Appearance: Episode 5, A Close Shave for Thomas

Edward Image (with other models behind!)

"Edward" is an old, experianced engine that has worked on the Sodor Railway for many years, probaility at the 1920's and up to the present. Edward is a Rebuilt FR "Larger Seagull" 4-4-0. According to the "Railway Series" Edward was the first ever engine to ever been introduced in the first book, nearly making him the main character of the whole series. Edward knows nearly everyone on the railway, but he most knows everything about Gordon. Gordon and Edward go a very long way back, probally Gordon is even older than him. Gordon and Edward first appears in The Three Railway Engines, the first series of books by the Railway Series.

  • First Appearance: Episode 4, Thomas & The Boulder

Henry with Duck Image

"Henry" is a large, frieght pulling, courcous engine that doesn't worry about anything,... except his special coal! Henry is a LMS 5MT "Black Five" 4-6-0, but on the television series "Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends", Henry seems to have a very wider and strange looking tender than the "Railway Series". Henry is an engine that enjoys his works, doesn't seem to bother about life or the past, Henry concentrates on the present. On the "Railway Series", Henry had a same figure as Gordon but only smaller and without the 2 trailer wheels and his tender diddn't seem to have curves than Gordon. Up till the episode "Coal" Henry has special coal (which is in fact "Welsh Coal" which is the best coal in the world) to make him feel much better, but until the accident Henry had a re-build at Crewe. Up til then, Henry never needed "Welsh Coal".

Gordon Image

"Gordon" is a pompous, old, experienced engine that has been pulling the "Wild Nor' Wester" Express since he came from the mainland, Britain. Gordon is a rare LNER A1 Pacific 4-6-2, only Flying Scotsman and Gordon are the only ones left of the A1,2,& 3 Class. Gordon is probablily the oldest engine on Sodor but we do not know really, all because that both Gordon, Edward and Henry appear on the Railway Series episode, The Three Railway Engines. Gordon is a pompous engine at times, mostly he has a heart that carries Sodor forever. Gordon is very proud of pulling the Wild Nor' Wester Express, for because that he is the only engine that is strong enough to pull it. There is a relationship between Gordon and Thomas for that they both have blue and red coats of paint and that they are described by ComediTv37 as "Gordon and Thomas, well what can I say.... Reverend Awdry did not only add the lightness of good and bad within different engines, but he also added Gordon and Thomas, a father and son like bond. Brilliant!"

  • First Appearance: Episode 4, Thomas & The Boulder
  • Last Appearance:

"Toby" is a shy, old little steam tram engine who works on Ffarquhar Branchline (Thomas' Branchline) who he works with Thomas, Percy and Daisy to run the Branchline on time to please the Fat Controller. Toby is a GER Wisbeck Steam Tram J70 0-6-0T who was built to stunt frieght on Docks/ Harbours. In the Railway Series, Toby said that he was an LNER Steam Locomotive, Toby is an LNER but many other companies made different copies of him of use of shunting and light frieght working. Toby used to work on his own brachline until it was closed down, until then an invitation from the Fat Controller assigns him for his Railway, working on the Ffarquhar Branchline along with Thomas and Percy, and later Daisy.

  • First Appearance: Episode 3, Percy Comes to Breakfast
  • Last Appearance:

"James" is a "mixed - traffic engine" that works on the Big Station. James is pompous (same like Gordon but only younger and niave). James like to givin the chance to show off to the other engines that he is the most spelendid engine on Sodor, like Gordon he likes to think that he is the most important engine on the Railway. On the television series "Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends" as narrated by Michael Angelis from the retirement of the first narrater, Ringo Starr. James has had a cockney accent towards to the audience and the engines. James can be so fussy all over coaches and trucks because he thinks that life is easy not really!

When Daisy first arrived on the railway in the Railway Series, she was meant to be the replacement for Thomas while he was at the works. Daisy then acted rudely towards Percy, Toby and the passengers just saying "its fitters orders", acting like the fitter of Daisy is like taking orders from a doctor. At the end, Daisy soon learned the lesson of friendship ans stayed on Sodor ever since.

Bertie both appeared on the Railway Series in the Book "Tank Engine Thomas Again". In the book, Bertie challenges Thomas to a race, thinking he might win, but lesson is learned when Thomas wins the race. Bertie and Thomas are very best-friends for a very long time, much longer than Percy's with Thomas!

"Trevor" is a traction engine that runs at the Orchard by the Reverend (probably the authers, Rev . W. Awdry). Trevor is based on a Foster steam traction engine. Trevor was first found in Railway Series episode "Saved from Scrap", Trevor was saved by Edward, the old engine. Edward persuaded the Reverend to buy Trevor, at the end, the Reverend said that he got Trevor "cheap". In televison series Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends as also Railway Series, in one episode Trevor misses the seaside and the children, so Edward gets Trevor to meet Thomas for the first time. Thomas bring Trevor down to a seaside which is by the Ffarquhar Branchline, the seaside was a mess until Trevor sorted it out. In television series Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends, George reappears in "Bye George" of where he is brought back into railway business. Series 2

ComediTv37 have been imformed that there will be a Second Series for the series, and had said, "... the next series will be very different as the last one was full of spoofs, so i am going to experiment the episodes so that i will give the targeted audience some more suspence in the atmosohere of the mini series, it's going to tell the greatest story of Thomas ever written... you see i have thought about it every carefully... and I had this idea for a long time... its, its.. its brilliant!..."

The Second Series will start on October 2011.

ComediTv37 adds more episodes but repeats of the Original Thomas TV Series.

The 8 last episodes were ComediTv's ideas and hoping to expanding the story with better technology and cameras, and is hoping to make them all.  Series 2 will have 15 episodes, larger than Series 1.

Also the 8 last episodes of series 2 follows the plot of the TMS future feature-length film - Sodor '40. The episodes will be shown first as part of series so far then later, when the series has finished; the episodes will be patched up and be shown on YouTube. The story line follows Thomas and his friends through a realistic, social realistic period during the wrath of the Second World War, and there is a traitor amounst them.

A Series 3 is very unlikely but might be plans for 2014 or 2015

Notes

The creator of the series, ComediTv37 had other plans for other spin-offs like the Branchline Series, a series of mouth-to-mouth animation of copy righted british tv shows like Mrs Browns Boys or Blackadder. You can also visit ComediTv37's Channel on YouTube!
