Two new engines Alex and Stephanie arrive Bear quickley made friends with Stephanie when he was broken down.

Narrator: Bear arranged Gordon's coaches at the big station and went to the shed. He found Thomas and his friends including Boco, Danni and Mavis resting. He asked politley if he can come in. Thomas and the others weren't please to see another diesel like Boco, but when they found he knew Henry and was friendly they became more polite and Bear came in.
Mavis: Do the other engines tease you?
Bear: Sometimes and they call me the "Bear."
Narrator: All of the engines laughed and Sir Topham Hatt came with news.
Sir Topham Hatt: 2 new engines wil arrive here tomorrow.
Narrator: The engines were excited the next morning the engines were waiting at the big station when they heard whistles.
(Whistles blowing in distance.Two tender engines appear in the distance and two tender engines back up and stop in front of Douglas and Donald.)
Sir Topham Hatt: (pointing to the black engine) This is Alex he's gentle with coaches and sometimes pulls goods trains on the mainline. (Pointing to the green engine) And this is Stephanie, she likes passengers very much and she is very smart and can be very useful.
Thomas: Hello, I'm Thomas, welcome to the railway.
Alex: Pleased to meat you Thomas.
Henry: I'm Henry.
Stephanie: Nice to meet you Henry
Boco: I'm Boco and this is Bear.
Sir Topham Hatt: Your first jobs are to pull trucks and coaches. Henry, Bear, please show Alex and Stephanie around.
Henry and Bear: Yes, sir.
Narrator: The engines didn't mind what they did. They pulled goods and passenger trains easily.
Alex: I like it fine here.
Bear: Thats good but watch out for Gordon and James. They sure try for nonsense.
Stephanie: Don't worry, we'll settle them.
Narratror: Stephanie has a shrill whistle and Alex has a deep whistle like Donald and Douglas.
Gordon: Stephanie sounds like a crow.
James: Alex sounds like a ship.
Gordon: Tugboat Annie! (Laughs)
Narrator: Stephanie and Alex cruised quietly up, one on each side.
Stephanie: You wouldn't make fun of us now?
Gordon: (Shuddering) No, no!
James: Certainly not!
Alex: That's fine but to remind the both of you, keep it that way.
Narrator: Next day, Bear had trouble starting and roared out of the sheds. He had to take coal cars to the other railway.
Bear: (Struggling) Come on, come on.
Narrator: It wasn't long until he stopped at the points near Tidmouth station. Alex pushed him to the big station, and Sir Topham Hatt was wating for him.
Sir Topham Hatt: I telephoned the manager and he agreed to let you stay there for the night. Stephanie, can you pull him to the other railway?
Stephanie: Yes, sir.
Narrator: Stephanie pulled Bear to the other railway. Gordon usually pulls the express to the other railway or to London. They passed Percy along the way.
Percy: Going to the forest, eh, Bear?
Narrator: Bear felt embarrased.
Stephanie: Don't worry, I'm sure he was joking, he really didn't mean it tough.
Bear: Thanks. (Blushes and looks down.)
Stephanie: If you're in trouble, we'll help you from Sodor, a nice place to be.
Stephanie: Yeah, of course.
Narrator: They passed Wellsworth station and charged on Gordon's hill beyond. Bear found a good and fast friend indeed. They passed Thomas along the way Pulling Annie and Clarabel.
Thomas: Heads up, you got diesels along the way.
Bear: Oh god, I think I'm going to have motorache.
Stephanie: (Chuckles) I'm sure that everything will be fine.
Narrator: She was right. They got their load to the other railway and took Bear to the works to get his filters cleaned. As he came out He, Stephanie and Bear are now friends. They take passengers up and down the mainline if Gordon was ill or away to London. They always now that diesels can be really useful and friendly engines too.
