The Toritaka are a minor family who was taken into the Crab clan when their former clan, the Falcon clan, was destroyed during the course of the Kingdoms War. They often train as rangers, renowned for their expertise in supernatural creatures and the Spirit Realms. Their skill and apparent lack of fear in hunting ghosts and phantoms has led other Crabs to speculate (half-jokingly) whether the Toritaka themselves are not ghosts.
