Ash The University Trainer

  • Mark Moraghan: At the very end of Ash's route lies The Cartoon University, one of the finest schools on the land of YTV. Mel Blake is a girl who works there, arranging Beedrill with stone."
  • Mel: Get in line and get ready. You're all heading off for the docks this afternoon."
  • Beedrill: Oh, ow, ow!"
  • Mark Moraghan: It's not an easy job, but Mel knows how to keep the Beedrill in line. One day, there was a big order of stone from the Quarry to the docks. Ash and Ken had been sent to collect it, but they couldn't agree on which of them would be the back character.
  • Ash: It would be better if you to be my back character, Ken, After all, it is my route."
  • Ken: Nonsense, Ash! You should be my back character. Having a draconquus on your route is bound to improve it."
  • Ash: I could take the changelings by myself."
  • Ken: Don't make me laugh! Those Beedrill are much too heavy for one character, especially a Pokemon Trainer like you."
  • Mel: You two should stop arguing. You don't know how lucky are you. I work here in the quarry all the time. At least you get to see the rest of YTV and the seaside."
  • Ash: Would you like to be my back character, Mel?
  • Mel: "Oh no, Ash. I have too much work to do here. There are more Beedrill to get ready and,"
  • Ash: I'm sure Ken can look after things here until you get back."
  • Mel: That does sound nice, if Ken agrees. In fact, it's a lovely idea."
  • Ken: Well, I've got a better one. You can be my front character, Mel. Bad guys are new and revolutionary. We'd be two bad guys working together."
  • Mel: Well, I suppose. Please, Ash, can you look after things here until I get back?"
  • Ken: Ta-ta, Ash! See you later."
  • Mel: There are more Beedrill to get ready. They need to go to the docks by four. But you'll have to mind them, they can be very troublesome."
  • Ash: (sighs) "I do know how to look after Beedrill, Katrina.
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash set to work taking empty Beedrill to be filled with stone, and shunting full ones into line. But the Beedrill were very troublesome. They didn't like to be pushed."
  • Beedrill: Oh, stop that!"
  • Mark Moraghan: And they didn't like to be pulled."
  • Beedrill: Oh, stop! Leave us alone!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash started to get very impatient. He was ready for Katrina and Ken to come back."
  • Ash: (sighs)
  • Mel: Oh, I do love to be by the seaside!"
  • Earthworm Jim: Ah, you're an alicorn after me own heart, Mel.
  • Mel: Thanks for letting me work with you, Ken. But we really do have to get back."
  • Ken: What's the rush? We could do another job together. These Beedrill need to go to the yards. Come on!"
  • Ash: Ah ha, here they are at last. You're not Katrina and Ken."
  • Jackie: I never said we were, did I?"
  • Kitana: I would have noticed it if you had."
  • Ash: But these Beedrill need to get to the docks, and I need a back character to take them. Would you like to work with me, Jackie? You can be my back character.
  • Jackie: That's too many Beedrill for me, Ash. And besides, I need to take the workers home for their supper."
  • Kitana: Just be patient, Ash. I'm sure Mel and Ken will be back very soon."
  • Mark Moraghan: Mel and Ken had delivered the Beedrill to the yards. Now Katrina was ready to get back to the quarry."
  • Katrina: I've had a great time, Ken. But I really do need to get back now."
  • Ken: But, there are more changelings that need to be taken to the Everfree Forest, Mel. We make a good time, you and me. You'd get to see the YTV Bridge."
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash was still waiting and getting very impatient."
  • Ash: Steven will be very cross if these Beedrill don't get to the docks on time. But, he would be very happy it I took them myself. That's it! I'll show that revolutionary Ken I don't need a back character after all."
  • Mark Moraghan: The Beedrill thought that was a great idea."
  • Beedrill: Yes, Ash. Do it. We won't push, and we won't hold back. We'll be on our very best behavior." (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: The Beedrill were heavy and hard to pull without a back character. But once they were rolling, they went very well. Until they reached the first hill."
  • Beedrill: Hold back, hold back!" (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: Without a back character to push from behind, it was very hard to pull the heavy Beedrill up the hill."
  • Ash: Oh! You said you were going to be good."
  • Beedrill: (Giggle) "Sorry, Ash. We forgot. We won't hold you back anymore." (Laugh)
  • Ash: What? No! Help!"
  • Beedrill: On, on! Faster, faster!" (Laugh)
  • Mark Moraghan: Without a back character to pull back from behind, it was very hard to slow down, and Ash's trailer wasn't strong enough to stop the heavy Beedrill.
  • Beedrill: (Laugh) "Faster, faster!"
  • Ash: "Oh no! Dan, look out!"
  • Mark Moraghan: "Luckily, a signalman switched him on a siding."
  • (CRASH!)
  • Beedrill: (Laugh)
  • Mel: Ash, what happened?"
  • Ash: "You two were taking so long, I decided not to wait and take the Beedrill by myself."
  • Mel: Without a back character?
  • Ash: Not a good idea. I know."
  • Ken: Sorry, Ash. I did tell Mel a number of times that we should get back to the quarry."
  • Mel: "What? You never said... Oh!"
  • Steven: (Clears throat)
  • Mark Moraghan: Mel and Ken helped to get Ash and the Beedrill back onto the path."
  • Steven: I know naughty Ken and Mel left you all on your own, Ash, but you should never have taken those Beedrill without a back character.
  • Ash: I'm sorry, sir. I was trying to be useful."
  • Mark Moraghan: Steven sent Mel back to the quarry to do what she does best. But he also realized that now and then, it was nice for her to take Beedrill down to the docks, and take makes Mel a very happy girl, indeed."
  • Mel: "Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside." (Earthworm Jim joins in) "Oh! I do like to be beside the sea. Oh! I do like to stroll along the Prom, Prom, Prom. Where the brass bands play:" (Bowser joins in) "Tiddely-om-pom-pom!" (Ash joins in) "Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside." (Leonardo joins in) "Oh! I do like to be beside the sea. When I'm down beside the sea. I'm beside myself with glee. Beside the seaside! Beside the sea!"

Not So Slow Girls

  • Mark Moraghan: There's nothing Ash likes more than taking Suzy and Pietra along his route. But even though his fillies are very faithful, they do sometimes complain, especially when Spike goes a bit too fast."
  • Suzy: "He's doing it again, Pietra.
  • Pietra: "I agree, Suzy. He's going dreadfully fast."
  • Ash: (Laughs) "I can hear you two."
  • Narrator: "One day, Suzy and Pietra were complaining as usual."
  • Suzy: Ash, slow down."
  • Pietra: "My horn is rattling."
  • Narrator: "So Ash decided to be a little cheeky."
  • Ash: (Cackles)
  • Suzy: "Oh, dearie me. What are you doing, Ash? Now you're going too slow."
  • Pietra: "You need to speed up if you're going to get us anywhere on time."
  • Ash: "But I thought you two wanted me to go slowly. Oh, well. If you want me to go fast..." (Cackles)
  • Pietra: "Clattering girls!"
  • Suzy: "Oh, that's much too fast."
  • Ash: (Laughs)
  • Suzy: Cheeky Ash!"
  • Pietra: "Cheeky, cheeky Ash!
  • Ash: (Laughs)
  • Narrator: "By the time Ash arrived at the YTV Airfield, he was running rather late."
  • Ash: (Gasps) "Blast my head! I'm suppose to be taking some Beedrill to the quarry after this."
  • Suzy and Pietra: "Ooh!"
  • Narrator: "Meanwhile, Josie was pulling into the yards. Josie was a very fast girl indeed."
  • Pac-Man: "Hello, Josie. What are you doing here?"
  • Josie: "I'm been going so fast I've loosen some fur, Pac-Man. I need to go to the works and get them tighten. Can I leave my buffaloes here and come back for them later?"
  • Pac-Man: "Sure thing, Josie."
  • Narrator: "As Josie pulled away, Ash arrived at the yards."
  • Ash: "Sorry, Suzy and Pietra. I'll have to leave you here for a while. I'm late for the quarry."
  • Pietra: "Well, if you hadn't been messing around, Ash. This wouldn't have happened."
  • Ash: "I agree. Too much going too fast. Then too much going too slow."
  • Narrator: Ash hurried up to the quarry as fast as he could."
  • Mel: "Thanks, Ash. Empty Beedrill, and just in time."
  • Ash: (Panting) "You're welcome... Mel."
  • Narrator: "Then he hurried back from the quarry. But..."
  • Suzy and Pietra: (Snoring)
  • Narrator: "Josie came back at the yards first."
  • Josie: "I've come to collect my coaches, Pac-Man."
  • Pac-Man: "Coming, Josie. Ooh. I've got a joke for you. How do bees get to school?"
  • Josie: "Uh, I don't know."
  • Pac-Man: "On a school buzz."
  • Pac-Man and Josie: (Laugh)
  • Narrator: "Pac-Man was so busy joking, he accidentally put Suzy and Pietra over to Josie along with her own coaches.
  • Suzy: "Ooh. Oh, Ash must be back."
  • Pietra: "About time too." (Yawns) "Now, don't go too fast, Ash. (Gasps) "Ash? You're over there."
  • Suzy: "Well, if he's over there, then who is pulling us?"
  • Ash: "Fizzling fire breath! Wait, Josie! Come back!"
  • Pietra: "This is the fastest we've ever been."
  • Suzy: "I don't like it at all!"
  • Pietra: "I've got my eyes closed."
  • Suzy: "Does it help?"
  • Pietra: "No, not really."
  • Narrator: "At last, Josie stopped at Sugar Cube Corner."
  • Pietra: "Thank goodness for that."
  • Josie: "Hello, Carrot Cake. How about a race up to the castle?"
  • Suzy: "Oh, dear. A race?"
  • Pietra: "Please say no. Please say no. Please say no."
  • Henry: "You're on, Cup Cake."
  • Suzy and Pietra: "No!"
  • Josie: "Ready. Set. Go!"
  • Suzy and Pietra: "No!"
  • Ash: "No!"
  • Josie: "Whee!"
  • Henry: "Yay, hey-hey-hey! Why-ha hey-hey! You'll never beat me, Cup Cake!"
  • Josie: (Giggles) "We'll see about that."
  • Suzy: "Oh!"
  • Pietra: "I'll never complain about Ash again!"
  • Suzy: "No will I!"
  • Ash: "If I ever get Suzy and Pietra back, I'll never tease them again."
  • Narrator: "Ash puffed as fast as he could, but before he could get up to the castle..."
  • Ash: Josie!"
  • Josie: Ash!"
  • Ash: Suzy! Pietra!"
  • Suzy and Pietra: Ash!"
  • Narrator: Josie was already on her way back, heading for the mainland."
  • Ash: "Oh, on."
  • Narrator: "Ash had to stop Josie before she went over the YTV bridge to the mainland."
  • Ash: "Oh, no. I'm too late. I'll never be able to catch up with Josie now."
  • Ryu: "Hello, Ash.
  • Ash: "Hello, Ryu.
  • Ryu: "It's a good thing I stopped Josie. She was taking your fillies away."
  • Ash: Suzy and Pietra. You brought them back. Thank you."
  • Suzy: "Yes! Thank you, Ryu.
  • Pietra: "Thank you indeed."
  • Ash: Oh, Suzy and Pietra, I'm sorry I teased you."
  • Suzy: "And we're sorry we complained about how fast you were going."
  • Pietra: "We'll never do it again."
  • Narrator: "Ash wanted to got even faster, but he was so happy to have Suzy and Pietra back, he just smiled."
  • Suzy: "Although you are going a bit fast now."
  • Pietra: "Much too fast, if you ask me.
  • Suzy: "You're so right, Pietra. Much too fast."
  • Ash, Suzy and Pietra: (Laugh)

Beedrill of Fear

  • Mark Moraghan: It was a misty day on the land of YTV. At the train station, Bowser was unloading a shipment of building supplies."
  • (Whistling and Wailing)
  • Ash: What's that noise?"
  • Earthworm Jim: "Ah." (Laughs) "That'll be the Beedrill of Fear, Ash."
  • Ash: The Changelings of Fear? What are they?"
  • Earthworm Jim: "Well, now, my laid, long, long ago, an old pony was puffing along the path pulling three changelings when suddenly, his rope snapped, and the Beedrill rolled away. Now, the Beedrill roll the paths a-whistling and a-wailing, and looking for a character to hoop up to." (Laughs) "So my laid, beware the Beedrill of Fear. They might come rolling after you." (Laughs)
  • Bowser: Enough of your tall tales, Earthworm Jim! Ash has work to do. Off you go, Ash.
  • Mark Moraghan: So Ash was hooked up to the Beedrill, and, with a blow of his whistle, was on his way."
  • Earthworm Jim: "Watch out for the Beedrill of Fear, Ash. You never know when they'll come rolling by." (Laughs)
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash clattered through the mist with his Beedrill carrying the pipes, when suddenly he heard the noise again."
  • (Whistling and Wailing)
  • Ash: What's that?"
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash looked around, but he couldn't see anything that could have made the mysterious sound. Sakura and Shaggy were at the yards when Ash arrived."
  • Sakura: "Hello, Ash.
  • Ash: "I've just heard the Beedrill of Fear."
  • Shaggy: "The bee who of what?"
  • Ash: The Beedrill of Fear. Earthworm Jim told me about them. They roam the paths in search of a character, and they whistle and wail."
  • Shaggy: "That sounds spooky!"
  • Ash: "It was!"
  • Sakura: "Oh, don't be such a pair of scaredy animals! There must be a perfectly sensible explanation."
  • Shaggy: "I hope so. I really do."
  • Mark Moraghan: The next morning, Shaggy was sent to pick up the pipes from the yards and take them to Sweet Apple Acres."
  • Shaggy: I don't want to hear the Beedrill of Fear! I don't want to hear the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • (Cow mooing)
  • Shaggy: "Oh no! It's the Beedrill of Fear."
  • (Cow mooing)
  • Mark Moraghan: But it was just a cow in the field."
  • Shaggy: I don't want to hear the Beedrill of Fear! I don't want to hear the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • (Whistle blows)
  • Shaggy: Oh! It's the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • Mark Moraghan: But it was just the stationmaster blowing his whistle. Shaggy finally made it to the yards, and picked up the pipes."
  • Shaggy: I don't want to hear the Beedrill of Fear! I don't want to hear the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • (Whistling and Wailing)
  • Mark Moraghan: Then Shaggy heard some whistling, and some wailing."
  • Shaggy: Oh no! That's not a cow in a field, and it's not the guard's whistle. It must be the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Shaggy was much to scared to keep on puffing. He slowed right down, so his driver took him onto a siding, thinking there was something wrong. Shaggystopped, and he wouldn't budge. Sakura had to be called to take the Beedrill to Sweet Apple Acres."
  • Sakura: You are being very silly, Shaggy! There really are no such things as the Beedrill of Fear."
  • Shaggy: "But there are. I heard them."
  • Sakura: "Nonsense! What did you actually hear?"
  • Shaggy: "I heard a whistling and wailing sound, just like Ash said."
  • Sakura: Oh! Well, I still think there must be a sensible explanation."
  • Mark Moraghan: Then, Sakura heard something too."
  • Sakura: What's that noise? Ash, are you playing a trick on me?"
  • Mark Moraghan: But Sakura couldn't see Ash anywhere."
  • (Whistling and Wailing)
  • Sakura: Ash, is that you?"
  • Mark Moraghan: There was no sign of Shaggy. Sakura puffed away as fast as she could, but the whistling and wailing was right behind her."
  • Sakura: Oh no! Maybe there isn't a sensible explanation. Maybe it really is the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Sakura puffed faster and faster as she tried to get away from the Beedrill of Fear. Then there was trouble. Sakura took a turn too fast. The pipes came loose and rolled off the Beedrill.
  • Sakura: Bubbling bodies! Oh, at least I can't hear the Beedrill of Fear anymore. They must have gone away after another character.
  • Mark Moraghan: Funky Kong had to be called to load the spilled pipes onto the changelings again. Meanwhile, Ash was at the station."
  • Ash: Have you got some more pipes ready for me, Bowser?
  • Bowser: Keep your head on, Ash! Nearly done."
  • Earthworm Jim: (Laughs) "There's a bit of a breeze whipping up, my laids."
  • (Whistling and Wailing)
  • Ash: Oh no! It's the Beedrill of Fear!"
  • Bowser: There are no Beedrill of Fear! That's just the wind whistling through the pipes."
  • Ash: Really?"
  • Bowser: Ugh, you characters!
  • Ash: Earthworm Jim, you said the whistling and wailing was the Beedrill of Fear."
  • Earthworm Jim: Ah, that I did. But it might just have been the wind."
  • Ash: You were teasing us all along."
  • Earthworm Jim: Oh, that's the way it is with us party characters." (Laughs)
  • Mark Moraghan: That night, Jodelle was late getting back the library."
  • Sakura: Oh, Ash, you were right. The Beedrill of Fear are real."
  • Ash: What do you mean? You're the one that was right. There was a sensible explanation."
  • Sakura: Really? But I heard the sound, and it kept falling me and... What's explanation?"
  • Ash: "It was one of Earthworm Jim's tall tales. The noise was just the wind blowing through the pipes."
  • Sakura: "Wind? Blowing through the pipes? Oh, I-I see. I knew it had to be something, and I wasn't really scared."
  • Mark Moraghan: But everyone knew that Sakura really had been frighten. And after that, nobody ever spoke about the Beedrill of Fear again, expect maybe Earthworm Jim.
  • Earthworm Jim: "And to this day, the Beedrill of Fear roll the Cartoon University paths looking for a character to hook up to." (Laughs)
  • Sakura: Oh, Earthworm Jim. Honestly!"
  • Ash, Shaggy, Sakura and Earthworm Jim: (Laugh)

Disappearing Villains

  • Mark Moraghan: Some characters on the land of YTV give bad guys a bad reputation.
  • Ken: (Cackling)
  • Alex: "Hey!"
  • Ken: (Laughs)
  • Evan: (Humming)
  • Mark Moraghan: Evan is one of the kindest guys you could ever meet."
  • Evan: "Good morning, Ash.
  • Ash: Good morning, Evan.
  • Mark Moraghan: And because he is kind, Evan has lots of friends. Evan is friends with the characters up at the Blue Valley Quarry."
  • Rikochet: Hello there, Evan.
  • Evan: Hello, Rikochet.
  • Mark Moraghan: And with Earthworm Jim and Leonardo at the train station. Even King Bowser Koopa is friends with Evan.
  • Evan: Look, Bowser! I've got your favorite again; heavy stone."
  • Bowser: Oh, Evan. You shouldn't have."
  • Mark Moraghan: But the creature Evan has to try the hardest to be friends with is Ken himself."
  • Evan: Oh! Ken! Hello! Hello?"
  • Mark Moraghan: "Unfortunately, Ken is not a very easy creature to be friends with."
  • Ken: "Quick, Evan is coming. Let's all hide so he can't find us. It'll be very funny."
  • Morton: "Okay."
  • Roy: "I like funny jokes."
  • Ken: Come on, Rio. You need to hide too."
  • Evan: Hello! Oh, you'll never guess what happened down at the station. It... Hello? Oh. There's nobody here."
  • Ken: (Cackles)
  • Evan: "Creatures? Where can they be? Anybody here?"
  • Morton: No." (Laughs)
  • Evan: Hello! What's going on? Something terrible must have happened. All the creatures have disappeared. I have to find them!"
  • Ken: (Laughs)
  • Rio: "I think we've taken this joke a little too far."
  • Morton: "Yeah."
  • Roy: "What he means is, Evan was really worried."
  • Ken: (Laughs) "Don't be be such fussy feet! It was joke, that's all. And jokes are really funny."
  • Mark Moraghan: Evan didn't think it was a joke at all."
  • Evan: Hello? Any creatures here?"
  • Casey: I'm a creature."
  • Mark Moraghan: But Evan didn't hear Casey because he was already hurrying away."
  • Evan: Have you seen any creatures, Ash.
  • Ash: Um, I can see you."
  • Evan: Not me! The other creatures. They've disappeared! Where's Earthworm Jim? Is he missing too? Something is making all the creatures disappear."
  • Bowser: Don't take nonsense, Evan! Earthworm Jim went by five minutes ago."
  • Earthworm Jim: Ah! Somebody mentioned my name?"
  • Bowser: Oh, Earthworm Jim! Thank goodness you're sill here."
  • Earthworm Jim: (Laughs) "You're burning energy over nothing. The other creatures will turn up soon enough."
  • Evan: Oh, do you really think so, Earthworm Jim.
  • Earthworm Jim: Oh, no doubt about it, buddy. Cool your legs and fill your body again."
  • Mark Moraghan: After all the rushing around, Evan's body was getting low."
  • Earthworm Jim: I bet my hooves at the end of the day, the creatures will be back at the Creatureworks, where they belong."
  • Bowser: And here's Ken himself."
  • Evan: Ken? Where?"
  • Ken: Shh, Bowser! Who asked you to put your wings in?"
  • Evan: Ken? Wait! Come back!"
  • Ken: (Laughs) "Evan doesn't give up easily. I'll give him that."
  • Evan: Ken! Wait!"
  • Children: (Cheering)
  • Ken: They don't call me "Devious Ken" for nothin'!" (Chuckles)
  • Duke: Yes? Can I help you, Ken?
  • Evan: Is that Ken over there, Duke?"
  • Ken (In a different voice): "Uh, no. It isn't!"
  • Evan: "But that did sound like Ken?
  • Duke: That's because it is Ken, Evan.
  • Ken (In a different voice): "No, it's not. I'm a Beedrill full of sausages." (Laughs)
  • Evan: Sausages? Ken, wait! Come back!"
  • Duke: Oh, what do you want to go chasing after him for?"
  • Evan: He's my friend!"
  • Duke: Is he really?"
  • Mark Moraghan: Ken was still having so much fun that he decided to go up to the quarry to hide. But no sooner had he pulled off the main path than he ran out of strength."
  • Ken: No! My body can't be empty."
  • Evan: Finally! Ken, I've been worried. All the creatures have gone missing."
  • Ken: We weren't missing. We were hiding from you."
  • Evan: Oh! Well, that's not a very good hiding place, Ken. I can see you." (Laughs)
  • Ken: (Sighs) "I know. I didn't expect to stop."
  • Evan: A better hiding place would be behind a shed or some bushes or even up at the quarry."
  • Ken: I know! I know! I didn't plan to hide here, but I ran out of strength and..."
  • Evan: Oh! Well, why didn't you say so?"
  • Ken: What are you doing?"
  • Evan: I'm taking you to the next stop so you can get some more food."
  • Ken: Oh."
  • Mark Moraghan: Ken didn't know what to make of this. He hadn't been very kind to Evan, but Evan was being very kind to him. Ken didn't know what to say. He didn't like to say "Thank you", so he didn't say it?"
  • Ken: Why did you help me?"
  • Evan: That's what friends are for."
  • Mark Moraghan: Evan was just happy to have found Ken again. He was even happier when he got back to the creatureworks and found the other creatures there."
  • Evan: Hello. I was looking for you."
  • Mark Moraghan: Ken came back to the sheds and back into the berth beside Evan. He still didn't manage to say "Thank you", but he did manage a friendly smile, and that was enough to make Evan smile too."

Peter's Adventure

  • Mark Moraghan: Richie and Peter used to work on the downtown streets. Richie never tired of telling the story of how they first came to the land of YTV.
  • Richie: And then, there was that night of my daring escape from the scrapyard! Ha! What an adventure that was. Unbelievable!"
  • Peter: I know, Mr. Richie. I was there too. Remember? And I heard this story before."
  • Richie: Never before has a earth pony had such a narrow escape! The moon was full that night, and the wind was rustling in the trees. I weren't scared, though."
  • Mark Moraghan: Richie had told Peter Shepard the same story 100 times. Sometimes Peter wished he had his own adventure story to tell so that he didn't have to listen to Richie all the time."
  • Richie: Oh, yes! My escape from that scrapyard was probably the greatest escape anyone's ever had."
  • Mark Moraghan: At the shunting yards, Richie was unhooked from Peter, and given some buffaloes instead."
  • Richie: Bye, Peter. See you later. Nice talking to you."
  • Mark Moraghan: Peter was happy not to listen to Richie's stories for a while, but he didn't like the idea of sitting around doing nothing. He wanted an adventure all of his own."
  • Raimundo: Pets. Huh! I don't know why I need a pet at all. I never have accidents."
  • Peter: Please, Mr. Raimundo. Hello. Did you say you needed a pet, sir? Perhaps I could help."
  • Raimundo: You? What's so special about you?"
  • Peter: Well, ask anyone, sir. I love helping haul coal changelings, and my feet are strong, and... oh, please, Mr. Raimundo!
  • Raimundo: Oh, all right. All right. Come along then. I haven't got all day."
  • Mark Moraghan: So Peter was hooked up to Raimundo. He was delighted to be heading off to the Everfree Forest."
  • Raimundo: I don't suppose you see splendid characters like me on your Little Pony line very often."
  • Peter: No, sir, but..."
  • Raimundo: Did you know I am the brightest Xiaolin Monk in the whole town of YTV.
  • Peter: Yes, sir. I can see that..."
  • Raimundo: You could travel for miles around and not find a better character than me."
  • Peter: D-d-d-do we have to go so f-fast, Mr. Raimundo?
  • Raimundo: I'm no slow coach! The sooner I get these changelings to the Everfree Forest, the sooner I can get back to working with buffaloes."
  • Peter: Ooh! Ow!" (Coughs) "Please slow down, sir! This is d-d-dangerous. Mr. Richie would never go this fast with a full load."
  • Raimundo: Nonsense! I know what I'm doing. I go this fast all the time."
  • Mark Moraghan: As they approached Terry's hill, Raimundo pumped his legs faster than ever. Peter decided he didn't want an adventure anymore."
  • Peter: Oh, dear! Oh, dear me!"
  • Raimundo: Ha-ha! You see, Peter? Nothing slows me down. Oh! Oof! Oh no!"
  • Peter: Oh, Mr. Raimundo! What was that?"
  • Raimundo: We've hit a branch! Stop the Beedrill!
  • Peter: I'm trying, Mr. Raimundo! I'm trying!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Ash was taking Steven and Ellen to the mainland to go to the opera."
  • Ellen: "I used to be quite the singer in my day. Would you like to hear me sing?"
  • Steven: Um, well, perhaps later."
  • Ellen: "Ah-heh-heh-hem. Me, my, moo. Ah-ha-ha! Ahem. Loo, loo, loo, loo."
  • Ash: Blast my head!
  • Mayor Mare: "Whoa!"
  • Steven: Ash, why have we stopped?"
  • Ash: Up ahead, sir! Look!"
  • Steven: Ash, back up! Back up!"
  • Alex: Ash, look out!"
  • Ash: Alex! Oh no! We're going to have a crash!"
  • Alex: (Gasps)
  • Peter: (Gasps) "Oh no!"
  • Mark Moraghan: Peter could see that Ash and Alex didn't have enough time to reverse and clear the path. Peter knew he had to save them all now."
  • Peter: (Grunting)
  • Steven: "He's going to hit us!"
  • Peter: (Grunting)
  • (Clink!)
  • Mark Moraghan: Peter had done it. He'd stop the coal Beedrill just in time. Everyone was very relieved."
  • Peter: (Coughs)
  • Ash: Well done, Peter!
  • Peter: "Thank you, Mr. Ash. Just..." (Coughs) "doing my job."
  • Raimundo: Sorry, Ash. I lost my Beedrill on the hill. Is everyone all right?"
  • Steven: No, Raimundo. Everyone is not all right. You have caused confusion and delay. I demand to know how this happened!"
  • Raimundo: Well, sir, the thing is, I was going too fast..."
  • Peter: There was a fallen branch on the path, sir. It was nobody's fault. It was an accident."
  • Steven: Oh, accident, eh? Well, um..."
  • Ellen: "Sounds to me rather like this little kid saved us all from certain disaster. Wouldn't you agree?"
  • Steven: Yes, I..." (Clears throat) "I suppose so."
  • Ellen: "You are a really useful and very brave kid.
  • Steven: Quite right. Um, well done, Peter. Carry on. Carry on. The opera awaits!"
  • Ellen: "Oh-ho-ho! La-lo-lo-lo-lo, lee, lee, lee. Me, my, moo, moo."
  • Mark Moraghan: Peter was still thinking about what Ellen had said to him. He felt very proud."
  • Peter: You can go a little faster if you like, Mr. Raimundo.
  • Raimundo: "Oh, no. This will do. Thank you, Peter. Never too slow. Never too fast. That's what I always say. Thanks for your help today, Peter.
  • Peter: And thank you very much, sir."
  • Raimundo: "Call me Raimundo.
  • Peter: Hello, Mr. Richie. I...
  • Richie: Hello, Peter! You'll never believe what happened to me today. Let me tell you all about it."
  • Raimundo: Actually, Richie, I think you should ask Peter about the adventure he had today."
  • Richie: You, Peter? You had an adventure?"
  • Peter: Well, yes, as it happens. It all started when I was hooked to Mr. Raimundo, and he started to go a bit too fast. By the time we reached Terry's hill, we were going so fast, my feet were shaking!"
  • Richie: Well, that don't sound like much of an adventure, Peter.
  • Peter: But that's not all. That's when we saw a branch had fallen on the line."
  • Richie: No!"
  • Peter: Yes! And the thing was, we were going so fast we couldn't stop."
  • Richie: (Gasps) "So, what happened next?"
  • Peter: That's when it got really scary. Raimundo couldn't stop."
  • Mark Moraghan: And so Peter told everyone about his adventure on the main road. Richie said he could hardly believe it, but Peter said that was okay. He'd tell him the whole story again tomorrow."
