  • Lara: Mornin, fellas.
  • Kid: (snoring)
  • Lara: Never mind. They're havin a nap.
  • Casey: Ow! Not another hole in the road.
  • Lara: Can't talk, Casey.
  • (Later)
  • Giselle: It's too bad! That Temacu is working at the shop.
  • Miki: Hi Giselle.
  • Giselle: Hi.
  • Miki: If you pretend to be sick, you can't shunt Beedrill.
  • Giselle: Good idea.
  • Lara: Hi guys. A beautiful day.
  • Giselle and Miki: We're not.
  • (The Conductors appear)
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Giselle and Miki are sick?
  • Mr. Conductor 2: I know that.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Reminds me of Thomas' trust.
  • Lara: Thomas' trust?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: I can tell.
  • (Mr. Conductor 1 blows his whistle and Trust Thomas starts)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Thomas the Tank Engine was feeling bright and cheerful. It was a splendid day.
  • Thomas: Good morning.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He whistled to some cows, but the cows didn't reply.
  • Thomas: Never mind.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Thomas.
  • Thomas: They're busy with their breakfast.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Next he saw Bertie.
  • Thomas: Hello, Bertie. Care for a race today?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: But all Bertie could say was...
  • Bertie: Ouch! That's another hole in the road!
  • Thomas: I'm sorry, Bertie.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Smiled Thomas. Thomas was still in good spiris when Bertie arrived at the next station.
  • Thomas: Bad luck, Bertie. Now if you're a steam engine, you would run a repair on reliable rails.
  • Bertie: Huh!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Replied Thomas.
  • Bertie: The railway was suppose to deliver the tar to mend the road two weeks ago. You can't trust a thing that runs on rails.
  • Thomas: I run on rails. You can trust me, Bertie. I'll see if I can find out what's happened.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: And Thomas puffed away towards the big station. James was snorting about in the yard.
  • James: It's too bad!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He grumbled.
  • James: Percy goes to work at the harbour and I do his job, here, there and everywhere! Take that!
  • Freight Cars: Ooh!
  • Mr. Condctor 1: Groaned the freight cars.
  • Freight Cars: Just you wait, we'll show you!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Gordon laughed.
  • Gordon: I'll tell you what, James. If you pretended to be ill everywhere, you couldn't freight cars here, or go to the quarry there, could you?
  • James: What a good idea.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Agreed James.
  • James: Look, here comes Thomas. I'll start pretending now
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Thomas was sorry to see the engines looking miserable
  • Thomas: Cheer up.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He puffed.
  • Thomas: It's a beautiful day.
  • Gordon: Yes.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Grumbled Gordon
  • Gordon: But not for James.
  • Thomas: What's the matter?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Asked Thomas.
  • Gordon: He's sick.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Replied Gordon.
  • James: Yes he is. I mean I am.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Stuttered James.
  • James: I don't feel well at all.
  • Thomas: Don't worry.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Thomas kindly.
  • Thomas: I'll help out if you're ill.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Gordon and James sniggered quietly to each other. Some of James' cars were coupled behind Thomas and he steamed away to the quarry. The cars were still cross.
  • Freight Cars: We couldn't pay James back for bumping us, so we'll play tricks on Thomas instead. One engine is as good as another.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: But Thomas didn't hear them. He collected all the stone from the quarry and set off back to the junction. Danger lay ahead.
  • Freight Cars: Now for our plan!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Giggled the cars.
  • Freight Cars: Go faster, go faster!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: They pushed Thomas over the switches.
  • Thomas' Driver: Slow down!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Called Thomas' driver and applied the brakes. Poor Thomas stood dazed and surprised in the muddy pool, as a toad eyed in suspiciously.
  • Thomas: Bust my buffers.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Muttered Thomas.
  • Thomas: The day started so well too.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Duck pulled away the cars, and Edward helped Thomas back to the junction. Suddenly, Thomas remembered the missing tar. He told Edward all about him.
  • Edward: That's strange.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Edward.
  • Edward: A car full of tar been left in my station. That must be it. Driver will make sure it gets to Bertie now.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Later, James spoke to Thomas.
  • James: I'm sorry about your accident.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He muttered.
  • James: And so is Gordon. We didn't mean to get you into trouble.
  • Gordon: No indeed.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Spluttered Gordon.
  • Gordon: A near misunderstanding, Thomas, all's well that ends well.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Just then Bertie arrived. He looked much more cheerful.
  • Bertie: My road's being mended now.
  • Thomas: Oh, I am glad.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Replied Thomas.
  • Bertie: Thanks for all you did.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Added Bertie.
  • Bertie: Now I know I can trust an engine especially his name was Thomas.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Gordon and James puffed silently away to the shed, but Thomas still had company.
  • Thomas: Well, well.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He sighed.
  • Thomas: What a day for surprises.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: The toad who was looking forward to arrive home noisly agreed.
  • (Trust Thomas ends)
  • Lara: You can trust on Thomas.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: The tank engine.
  • (The Conductors disappear)
  • Lara: I'll help out if you're ill.
  • Giselle: Okay.
  • Miki: Good luck.
  • Giselle and Miki: (both snicker)
  • (End of Part 1)

Part 2

  • (We see Lara taking some Beedrill to the quarry)
  • Beedrill 1: We're not going to do anything.
  • Beedrill 2: We'll play tricks on Lara.
  • Beedrill 3: One girl...
  • Beedrill 4: ...Is as good as another.
  • Lara: Ah can't hear that.
  • (We see Lara aproaching a dangerous line)
  • Beedrill: Now for our plan. Go faster, go faster!
  • Lara: Mah feet! They can't stop.
  • (Lara crashes into the barriers, a log snaps and the blue head gets sent into the pond)
  • Lara: Ow!
  • Beedrill: (all snicker)
  • Lara: Aww nuts.
  • Politoed: Politoed.
  • (The Conductors reappear)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Lara fell into trouble.
  • Mr. Conductor 2: Yeah.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: It happens to Rusty saving Duncan.
  • Lara: Rusty savin Duncan?
  • Mr. Conductor 3: I can tell.
  • (Mr. Conductor 3 blows his whistle and Trusty Rusty starts)
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Rusty repairs the railway that winds through the mountains on the Island of Sodor. The little diesel checks that the tracks, tunnels and bridges are all in good working order. One day, Rusty was crossing the old wooden bridge. There was a big bump in the track. Rusty's driver stopped to check the bridge.
  • Rusty's Driver: There are cracks in the supports.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: He said.
  • Rusty: Ooh, that could be dangerous.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Cried Rusty.
  • Rusty: It might fall down if it's not repaired.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: And they hurried off to warn the other engines. The engines were waiting for their coal when Rusty arrived.
  • Rusty: Don't use the old wooden bridge.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Said Rusty.
  • Rusty: It's dangerous!
  • Duncan: How would you know?
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Wheeshed Duncan.
  • Duncan: You're only a diesel.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: And he puffed crossly away. He didn't even wait for his coal. Rusty hurried down the mountain to tell Sir Topham Hatt the bad news.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Thank you.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I'll send engineers to investigate the bridge. Meanwhile, nobody is to use it.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Rusty's driver put up a sign: Line Closed. The engines had to travel a different way. Meanwhile, Duncan needed more coal to get home. But when he arrived at the coal bunker, it was empty.
  • Duncan: Bother! I wont get home without more coal. Where's the nearest bunker?
  • Skarloey: On the other side of the old wooden bridge. But you can't cross. Rusty says it's not safe.
  • Duncan: Rusty always makes things sound worst than they are.
  • Duncan's Driver: I'm sure one trip across the old wooden bridge wont hurt.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Added his driver. When they got to the junction, Duncan's driver removed the sign and they set off towards the bridge. This was a big mistake. Suddenly, Duncan hissed to a halt.
  • Duncan: I'm out of steam.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: He had used up all his coal.
  • Duncan: What's that?
  • Mr. Conductor 3: He asked nervously. His driver looked down. The old wooden bridge was starting to collapse.
  • Skarloey: Rusty!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Called Skarloey.
  • Skarloey: Duncan's gone across the bridge.
  • Rusty: I better check he's all right.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: The little diesel said. But the cracks in the supports were getting larger. A beam snapped. Timber pieces splashed into the water below.
  • Duncan: Help!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Whistled Duncan.
  • Duncan: I'm going to fall!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: But Rusty was on the way. Soon, the little diesel reached the old wooden bridge. Duncan had never looked so scared. Rusty chuffed bravely onto the bridge.
  • Duncan: Careful!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Gasped Duncan. Soon, they were coupled up.
  • Rusty: Hold on!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Said Rusty.
  • Duncan: Whoa!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Shouted Duncan. The little diesel pulled him off the bridge just in time.
  • Rusty: Don't use the old wooden bridge.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Said Rusty.
  • Rusty: It's dangerous!
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Sir Topham Hatt was cross with Duncan.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: That was very irresponsible.
  • Duncan: Yes, sir. Sorry, sir. And Rusty you were very brave.
  • Rusty: Ah thanks.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Yes, Rusty, you are a really useful engine.
  • Rusty: Thank you, Sir.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: Rusty felt very reliable too.
  • (Trusty Rusty ends)
  • Lara: Rusty did save Duncan.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: He's very reliable.
  • (The Conductors disappear)
  • Marina: I'll take you out.
  • Lara: Thanks.
  • Suzy: I'll take those Beedrill away too.
  • Lara: Amazin.
  • (End of Part 2)

Part 3

  • (We see Lara with Giselle and Miki)
  • Giselle: I'm sorry for your accident and so was Miki.
  • Miki: (sighing) A rear misunderstanding. All's well that ends well.
  • Casey: The road's been mended.
  • Lara: I like that.
  • Giselle: Let's go home.
  • Miki: Yeah.
  • (The Conductors disappear)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: You can trust on a blue head.
  • Mr. Conductor 2: Yeah.
  • Mr. Conductor 3: You said it.
