From Scratchpad
Welcome, Daniel! Thank you for making the template! -- Shaney 05:07, 2 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Hi Daniel. I have a question. I see that you are moving everything from "PAGE" to "TsukubaWiki:PAGE". Is that so that it will make it easier to move the files once we have an official "TsukubaWiki" page (which should be within a few days)? I wonder if we can do the move without changing everything like that? The reason I ask is because it makes all of the internal linking somewhat cumbersome. Also, it is making everything move to "T" in the categorization. -- Shaney 22:25, 2 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Since Scratchpad is a collection of miniwikis, put "ProjectName:" before pagenames prevent pagename conflict, especially for general terms like "information" and "movies". You can change display names in category page with code like [[category:TsukubaWiki|displayname]]. To do this, you also need to change template:TsukubaWiki and add [[category...]] to each page.—Danielwang 03:42, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
We are going to move all of the pages from Scratchpad as soon as we get permission to create the "TsukubaWiki" main page. I have applied to create the new Wiki and we should hear back within a few days. Because of that, I think we should hold off using the project name tag. Do you agree? -- Shaney 04:13, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Scrap what I said. I just discovered [[category|displayname]] won't work :(
I agree with you. There's no need to complicate a project that's going well :)
Okay. Thanks!
