Yeb. I'm always glad to see when people take the GFDL seriusly. I'm trying to build a dictionary for www.imdb.com users. I often contribute there from Icelandic movies, and the credits are in Icelandic, so here I wanted to be able to write the the icelandic occupatin name and find out the english translation in addition to how and where they should be added to the IMDb page. I've been carfull to not add the official guide, instead have a link to it. So all I'm putting here are names of film occupations. It can hardly be copyrighted. In the future, when I've build a soldi guide I will contact the IMDb staff and get permition to open up my own wiki page. But first I must prove that it will be more then an empty shell.

I don't know if it matters, but I'm a admin at the Icelandic Wikipedia.

And there is an option that you can request a full wiki instead of mini-wiki. Your wiki has been already rejected at requests.wikia.com? If not, try also there. Full Wikias could stay at Wikia servers as long as their contributors want this. Szoferka 22:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

I kind of just want to see if I'm the only one that will be contributing here. If someone comes and helps around then I'll request a wikia. I heard it's kind of hard, and takes a long time. So if you don't mind, this will do until then. Do you know if I can take a fead from here to my future new wikia or will I have to copy past every page? --Steinninn 22:39, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

There is a special:export page that should work, so you can make a list of pages you want to take and import it to other location. Exporting is possible for every user, but importing is allowed only for sysops on local wiki. If you decide to move into Wikia wiki, Wikia's tech team should be able to help you with moving.
