I have undone your revert of the Template:Nav box. I believe using an built-in internal link for recent changes, as well as forcing the nav box's background to be non-transparent, are all good changes. If any aspect of the nav box is bothering you (or is bugged), please bring it up, so we can attempt an alternate fix instead of just reverting to an older version that loses some of the improvements.
