The Vicus Portae Trigeminae was another important way that linked the Forum Boarium to the Emporium. The old gate of the Servian Wall that opened the way, the Porta Trigemina is one of the most mentioned in History. It seems that the gate had three openings to make the traffic easier. There were two triumphal arches that lined the Vicus Portae Trigeminae. The Arch of Germanicus and the Arch of Lentulus between the Arch of Germanicus and the Porta Trigemina. Many warehouses were built between the Tiber and the Vicus Portae Trigeminae.
