Elections held once a year at the secret business meetings of the Ship of Fools determine the Webmaster for the following school year. The Fools may be pirates, but they are web savvy pirates.

The duties of the Webmaster include:

• Maintaining the official website and group email
• Posting relevant and timely information regarding practices, locations, shows, and dates
• Troubleshooting, possibly negotiating with ITaP
• Defending against spam and virus problems

A competent Webmaster must be familiar with the following:

• Piracy
• CSS
• HTML/XHTML
• Unix shell
• Procmail
• WordPress

And if things get really hairy:

• MySQL
• PHP
• Python
• SpamAssassin
