Whiteling was once a young college student who once lived in the US for a short time. She was rebellious, forgetful and irresponsible - forgetting certain academic details, staying up all night, daydreaming; and quite distant with monotone pressures and stress.
One day, while running an errand, she accidentally overheard an evil plot between some demons and a few shadowed greedy men. Unfortunately she was spotted at the scene, and tried to escape down an alleway but is killed. Her spirit floats out and is brought before the Grand Council of Good; they explained that what she'd seen was supernatural and will go back to earth as a white lighter for her noble intentions.
Ever since then, she watches/guides many of her charges: those who were future heroes, Whitelighters or good fairies/witches.
Despite being stubborn, sensitive, agressive, and becoming rudely outspoken against a possible foe. Not to mention posessing low tolerance with snobs or know-it-alls, her good heart always shines through all her flaws.
For Whitelighters are the "guardian angels" of witches and future Whitelighters (and future heroes). They watch over their charges and intervene when necessary to help them along their path and keep them safe; they can also be called by their charges. They can constantly hear the lives of their charges in their heads, and if one of them calls their Whitelighter's name, he/she can usually show up at a moment's notice.
Loose frizzy, shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. Wears a pure white jacket and T-shirt with the crest of light on it, blue jeans, and white-skyblue sneakers. Up in the clouds with the Grand council of Good she wears a pure white cloak; in the further years she wears a gold cloak and has a silver hair streak.
Levitation, Healing, telepathic connection with charges, Conjuration, glamouring, splitting, thermokinesis and orbing (telekinetic orbing).
Orbing-turns into white-blue orbs which dissipate going from to place almost instantly sort of a magical teleportation.
If struck by a power that would usually kill a mortal (for example, an energy ball or particle acceleration), their bodies will explode into orbs then reform relatively unharmed; they can, however, be knocked unconscious. Because their orbs make their bodies immortal, the only sure way to kill a Whitelighter is to poison them with a Darklighter arrow.
Most notable charges :
W.I.T.C.H. and the Winx club, Ash Ketchum, the Watership down rabbits, Jaden Yuki, Sector V of the KND, Molly Cunningham, Barbara Gordon, Jade Chan, Gosalyn Mallard, Ben Tennyson and The digidestined.
Whiteling's now veracious attitude as a whitelighter leads her on a spree and speaking out aggresively had gained her alot of enemies. These are just a few of the enemies she's made as both a whitelighter and an Author fighter.
- The KND’s multiple enemies
Not many of the adult villains were happy that yet another magical being was aiding the KND. And the fact that this one being stubborn about her beliefs and almost invulnerable doesn't help either.
- Valerie Gray (from Danny Phantom)
The whitelighter's shouting match about Danny Phantom being on the side of good has earned her a spot on this murderous ghost-hunter's black list.
- Tonga (from Kimba the white Lion)
This cruel animal hunter sees the young animal-loving whitelighter and the Authors fighters as nothing more than little pests that need to be eliminated as soon as possible.
- Hannibal Roy Bean (from Xiaolin Showdown)
He's always causing trouble for her charges; corrupting them, threatening them etc.
- Demon sorcerers (from Jackie Chan adventures)
Demons are the common enemies of angels; so it's not so strange that the Demon Brethren loathe whitelighters.
- Dark Masters (from Digimon adventure)
To them and the other virus elil, any friend of the digidestined is their enemy. No questions asked.
- All of Megakat city's elil (from Swat kats)
These catlike supervillains won't back down because the Swat kats have the entire Author fighters on their side; if it's a war they want, a war they'll get.
- The villains of Gotham city.
Any friend or ally of the Batman is plumb out of luck because they'll be the next to visit the Black rabbit of Inlé.
