The Royal Republic is a political union made up of members of the cultured races, in particular humans, elves, gnomes, dwarves and halflings. It is the largest most powerful government in the world. However, because large armies are not allowed, the Royal Republic settles its disputes and enforces its laws with an elite order of guardians know as the Champion Knights.
