Bowser Bugs

  • Alec Baldwin: Ash and Alex enjoy working at the school. They like the personal students and the caring teachers. But one day, the friends were feeling hot and bothered. A Koopa was causing trouble. His name was Bowser and this was his first day at the school.
  • Bowser: You're useless little bugs!
  • Alec Baldwin: He called from above.
  • Bowser: If you put these Beedrill on the inside lines then i wouldn't have so far to travel.
  • Ash: Rubbish!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash.
  • Ash: No Koopa has ever complained before.
  • Bowser: Well i'm complaining now.
  • Alec Baldwin: And Bowser banged his load down on the keyside. Later, the two characters met Terry and Raimundo and told them about Bowser.
  • Terry: Koopas are nearly fairy things they need a lot of attention like me in fact.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Terry.
  • Raimundo: You should see the situation from Bowser's point of view.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Raimundo.
  • Raimundo: He's high up in the air coping with wind, rain and making sun. Then he looks down and sees you two little characters being annoying. No wonder he calls you bugs.
  • Alec Baldwin: When Bowser heard that the big characters agreed with him, he grew bossier still.
  • Bowser: Come on, come on. Push those Beedrill closer to me.
  • Alec Baldwin: But Alex was too upset to concentrate and pushed the Beedrill too far. Poor Alex. Then, Bowser played a trick on Ash.
  • Bowser: Push your Beedrill onto the outside line. It's easier for me to load up.
  • Alec Baldwin: So Ash did. But Bowser left the load beside the Beedrill, not in them.
  • Bowser: You must have known my arm can't reach you there.
  • Alec Baldwin: Complained Bowser. This mix up caused confusion and delay. Steven was most upset.
  • Steven: Ash and Alex, this new koopa has an important job to do. I have heard that you not been helping him today. You will go to your sheds and consider how you improve yourselves tomorrow.
  • Alec Baldwin: Now Ash and Alex were upset too. That evening, a big storm raged across the island. Bowser and the characters were trapped in the docks.
  • Virgil: We're sure to be safe in the sheds.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Virgil. But he was wrong. The characters had no idea they were about to be put in danger by an old tramp steamer. It was running out of control and into a ground straight into the sheds.
  • (The old tramp steamer crashes into the shed)
  • Bowser: (screams)
  • (Bowser lands onto the ground with a loud Kuh-Thud)
  • Shaggy, Raimundo, Virgil and Terry: Help!
  • Alec Baldwin: Called the characters from inside the shed.
  • Bowser: I can't!
  • Alec Baldwin: Called Bowser. When the storm was over, Steven rushed into the scene of the destruction.
  • Steven: Ash and Alex will help you.
  • Alec Baldwin: He called to Bowser.
  • Steven: And then you can help the characters.
  • Bowser: Oh, please, hurry!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Bowser.
  • Bowser: And tell them I'm sorry I was rude to them.
  • Steven: So it was you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Murmured Steven.
  • Steven: I know those characters an apology.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ash and Alex soon came to the rescue. And it wasn't too long before Bowser was upright again and clearing the wreckage. At last, all the characters were free.
  • Terry: Oh, thank you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Terry.
  • Terry: What would I've done without you?
  • Bowser: Well I had to be rescued before i help you. But i never I would be by a couple of, bu-bu...
  • Alec Baldwin: Bowser was about to say bugs but he quickly corrected himself.
  • Bowser: Uh, small characters thank you. I'll never be rude again. However you two mites are in my way so move over.
  • Alex: Pah!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Alex.
  • Alex: He's back to bugging us.
  • Ash: Don't move! You're still attatched to Bowser.
  • Alec Baldwin: But it was too late.
  • (Bowser lands on the rails once again)
  • Alec Baldwin: Bowser still looks down at the two little characters. But ever since that stormy night, he never calls them bugs or mights, because he knows they might bite back.

Richie's Find

  • Alec Baldwin: Richie and his sidekick Peter like working in the big yards. But one morning, Peter noticed that Richie was unhappy. He decided to find out why.
  • Peter: Uh, excuse me, Mr. Richie. It seems to me that things are not well with you, if you forgive for mentioning it.
  • Richie: You're quite right, Peter. All I do is shunt these Beedrill onto the turntable. I longed for a nice run. It's what an engine really means.
  • Peter: Uh, quite so, Mr. Richie. May I suggest that you speak to Steven about your problems?
  • Alec Baldwin: But Richie said nothing. He just grew unhappier and he was rough with the Beedrill.
  • Beedrill: You're no good, Richie, you're dangerous. We want Alex.
  • Richie: Alex's far too busy to be bothered with the likes of you.
  • Alec Baldwin: And Richie bumped the Beedrill hard.
  • (The Beedrill fall into the turntable)
  • Workman: You silly character!
  • Alec Baldwin: Shouted a workman.
  • Workman: It'll take a long time to repair this turntable which'll cause confusion and delay!
  • Alec Baldwin: That night, Steven arrived.
  • Steven: Richie, you had caused confusion. I thought you can control Beedrill. You should work the mail train for a while. Maybe the night air will clear your smokebox.
  • Richie: Yes sir, sorry sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Richie sadly.
  • Driver: Cheer up, old chap.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Driver: The mail train run is a fine run for a fine character like you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Richie smiled, but he still felt he had left everyone down. His driver took him along the coastal run with the mail train. The fresh air couldn't help but brighten Richie's spirits. They made good speed until it was time to collect some important mail from Superman.
  • Richie: Come on, Superman.
  • Alec Baldwin: At last Superman landed.
  • Superman: Sorry I'm late, great western. Had any uh bit of a problems with one of my arms. Kept letting me down when I was uh meant to be up. You know how it is.
  • Driver: We know that we'll be late for our first run.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Richie's driver. Soon, they were on their way again. Ahead was a red signal light. Richie didn't realized that the signalman had dozed off. Richie whistled several times, but the signal stayed red.
  • Driver: There must be something wrong with that signal. We'll go slowly and stop by the signalbox.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver. But they never reached it. The points before the signalbox were switched to an old track. They were going the wrong way. Richie's fireman was concered.
  • Fireman: We need to find the watertower soon.
  • Alec Baldwin: Instead they saw an old station. Disaster lay ahead.
  • (Richie crashes into a shed)
  • Alec Baldwin: Meanwhile, Steven was worried.
  • Steven: Richie has not returned. We'll send out a search party.
  • Alec Baldwin: Soon he was high in the sky with Superman.
  • Steven: There they are.
  • Driver: It wasn't Drix's fault.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sighed the driver.
  • Steven: I'm aware of that. I'm just glad to see you were all safe.
  • Alec Baldwin: Then he saw something. It was an empty old house beside the station. He went to inspect it. When he returned, he spoke to Richie.
  • Steven: You have found another attraction for our island. We'll make this house as good as new and visitors can have tea and prophets there.
  • Richie: Hmm.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sighed Richie.
  • Richie: Getting lost can be interesting but being found can be much nicer. Especially what a character feels really useful.

Cell Trouble

  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy and Drix are a pair of cells. They're practical, peppery, and proud. They nearly always work together. One day, Ozzy and Drix were strolling through the countryside, carrying a heavy load. Down the line, Heathcliff the Cat had been struggling with a big cartload of hay. Crossing the road, the cart's wheels had broken off. Then, Heathcliff heard a call.
  • Heathcliff: Oh no!
  • Alec Baldwin: Heathcliff cried. Ozzy could see the cart.
  • Ozzy: Stop!
  • Alec Baldwin: He cried. Ozzy's driver applied the brakes, but it was too late.
  • (Ozzy crashes into the cart)
  • Alec Baldwin: Luckily, no one was hurt.
  • Ozzy: Stop being pushy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy snapped.
  • Drix: Don't call me pushy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Drix snapped back.
  • Ozzy: You shouldn't have pushed me into the cart.
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Ozzy.
  • Drix: You pulled me you mean.
  • Alec Baldwin: Argued Drix.
  • Ozzy: Didn't!
  • Drix: Did!
  • Ozzy: Did not!
  • Drix: Did too!
  • Alec Baldwin: Before long the track was cleared and Ozzy and Drix were on their way. The cells were so cross they refuse to speak to each other for the rest of the day. The next day, Steven needed a character to help Virgil at the smelter's yards.
  • Ozzy: May I go, sir?
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ozzy eagerly.
  • Steven: I only need one character.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Steven.
  • Steven: Not two.
  • Ozzy: I am only one engine, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ozzy.
  • Ozzy: And I would like to help with Virgil.
  • Alec Baldwin: Steven was surprised but agreed. Ash was worried.
  • Ash: Won't you miss one another?
  • Alec Baldwin: He asked.
  • Ash: I know I missed Suzy and Pietra
  • Drix: I'll work better on my own.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sniffed Drix.
  • Ozzy: I have work to do.
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Ozzy. At first, Ozzy enjoyed working with Virgil. Then, things started to go wrong.
  • Ozzy: Did you shunt those Beedrill on the other line?
  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy asked.
  • Virgil: You said you wanted them on the other line.
  • Alec Baldwin: Virgil replied.
  • Ozzy: Not that other line, the other other line.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy was cross.
  • Ozzy: Drix would have known what I've meant.
  • Alec Baldwin: He huffed. Drix was working on his own. He chuffed dutifully through the beautiful countryside. But Drix had no one to share it with. Altough he tried not to he was beginning to miss his friend. That night, Drix's Driver took him to see Ozzy.
  • Drix: I was just passing.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Drix.
  • Ozzy: Have you come to say you're sorry?
  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy sniffed. This made Drix very cross.
  • Drix: I've nothing to be sorry for.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said and steamed away in a huff. The next day, Ozzy was in a bad mood. Virgil could see he was getting too close for the buffers.
  • Virgil: Look out!
  • Alec Baldwin: Virgil shouted, but it was too late.
  • (Ozzy falls into a pit)
  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy's driver was very cross.
  • Ozzy's Driver: This would've happened if you were working with Drix.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said. Ozzy knew he was right and Virgil knew he couldn't pull Ozzy back onto the rails. So he went for help. Drix was sadly finishing his work as Virgil steamed into the depot.
  • Virgil: Ozzy is in trouble.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Virgil.
  • Drix: Ozzy in trouble?
  • Alec Baldwin: Drix cried.
  • Drix: I'm on my way!
  • Alec Baldwin: And he steamed off as fast as he could. Drix struggled and struggled, he finally pulled his friend gently back on to the tracks. He was relief Ozzy wasn't hurt.
  • Ozzy: Thank you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ozzy said.
  • Ozzy: And I'm sorry.
  • Drix: No, I'm sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Drix.
  • Ozzy: I'm sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Insisted Ozzy.
  • Virgil: Don't argue about who's sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Chuckled Virgil.
  • Virgil: Just be glad you're back together.
  • Alec Baldwin: And they were.

Haunted Shaggy

  • Alec Baldwin: It was a moonlit night. Shaggy was taking a load of books to the school by the lake.
  • Kevin: Whenever that owl hoots, a mist rolls in.
  • Alec Baldwin: Murmured Kevin.
  • Kevin: There's a legend that when the mist is about, there's a ghost about too. Take care on the old line, Shaggy.
  • Shaggy: Stupid bird!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Shaggy.
  • Shaggy: Owls, mists, ghosts. Kevin's going soft to the boiler. There's no mist.
  • Alec Baldwin: But Shaggy was wrong.
  • Shaggy: What's that?
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Shaggy.
  • Driver: It's an amber lamp.
  • Alec Baldwin: Murmured his driver.
  • Driver: That means proceed with caution. Who's there?
  • Alec Baldwin: No one replied. Shaggy crepted slowly forward. He stopped by a tree. It had a sign nailed to it: Beware of The Viaduct. The driver was surprised.
  • Driver: No one warned us about that before and look, the signal's red and the gates are closed. A-a-and there's a fogman's coat. But where is his owner?
  • Alec Baldwin: Then, they saw a light move within a station building.
  • Shaggy: G-g-g-g-ghosts!
  • Alec Baldwin: Exclaimed Shaggy.
  • Shaggy: Kevin was right.
  • Driver: Something very strange is happening.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Driver: I think it's best we go back.
  • Shaggy: So do I!
  • Alec Baldwin: Agreed Shaggy. By morning, the mist had cleared. A workman was talking about the unsafe viaduct.
  • Workman: Lucky you didn't cross it last night.
  • Driver: Yes, but we don't know who warned us?
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Shaggy's driver. Later that day, he spoke to Shaggy.
  • Driver: The viaduct has been repaired. We can take our train back along the old line tonight.
  • Alec Baldwin: Shaggy really didn't want to. But when nightfall came, he was sizzling nicely. Suddenly, an owl hooted and then Terry thundered by.
  • Beedrill: Oh look. Shaggy's spooked.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said a Beedrill.
  • (Beedrill giggling)
  • Shaggy: Be quiet!
  • Alec Baldwin: Snapped Shaggy.
  • Shaggy: I'm not scared.
  • Alec Baldwin: But he was. A little later, the fog came down. As they approached the same area, they saw the amber light again.
  • Driver: Here we go.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Shaggy's driver. Then, unknown to Shaggy, the gates mysteriously closed by themselves and the signal went red. The Beedrill had seen everything and they were spooked.
  • Beedrill: Faster, faster. There's a ghost about.
  • Shaggy: Stop, stop!
  • Alec Baldwin: Yelled Shaggy. A mysterious figure watched Shaggy go by. Ahead was a landslide blocking the line. Shaggy braked hard but the Beedrill hit some of the rubble and plunged into the ravine.
  • (The Beedrill fall down and crashed towards the ground with a loud Kuh-Thud)
  • Alec Baldwin: Just then, Shaggy's driver saw a strange sight coming towards them.
  • Driver: What's that?
  • Alec Baldwin: He said. The fireman laughed.
  • Fireman: That's our ghost. It's Old Bailey the Fogman.
  • Alec Baldwin: Old Bailey was very cross.
  • Old Bailey: I tired to warn you about the viaduct. Why didn't ye pay attention?
  • Driver: We're sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied the driver.
  • Driver: Is there anything we can do to thank you?
  • Old Bailey: I like to operate that old station. If you let me, I promise I wont spook Shaggy again.
  • Alec Baldwin: And in a little while, Old Bailey's wish was granted.
  • Steven: You and your station will be really useful.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Steven.
  • Steven: Let's hear a hearty thank you to the friendliest, eh, ghost on the island.
  • Alec Baldwin: Everyone cheered. Especially Shaggy, who was the happiest of all.

A Big Surprise For Alex

  • Alec Baldwin: Alex was working at the campgrounds. He was feeling bored and lonely with only the silly Beedrill for company.
  • Alex's Driver: Cheer up, Alex.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Alex's Driver: Steven has told me that we must be here again tomorrow. We've just got to get the best of a bad situation.
  • Alex: I'll try, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sighed Alex. Next morning, the Beedrill started teasing Alex.
  • Beedrill: Alex, Alex, green and small, he's no use to us at all, around the yard to puff and blow but on a hills, he's oh so slow!
  • Alex: Be quiet!
  • Alec Baldwin: Then he took the Beedrill to the coal hopper to be loaded up. Alex still felt glum as he puffed up to the top of the hill. He parked his Beedrill and then set off back down the mines. Not even a cheerful sight of Sonic the Hedgehog could bring a smile to Alex's face.
  • Sonic: What's the matter, Alex?
  • Alec Baldwin: Asked Sonic.
  • Alex: Nothing exciting ever happens. That's the matter.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sighed Alex.
  • Alex: It's just coal coal coal and Beedrill Beedrill Beedrill. I'm bored bored bored.
  • Sonic: Excitement is surprising.
  • Alec Baldwin: Observed Sonic.
  • Sonic: You never know when it'll happen. Overwise, it wouldn't be exciting. Toodle peep.
  • Alex: It would be surprising if something surprising happened.
  • Alec Baldwin: Muttered Alex. Later, he stopped by the water tower for a drink.
  • Jackie: Hello, Alex. How are things?
  • Alec Baldwin: Asked Jackie.
  • Alex: Boring.
  • Jackie: Well, why not have a few spins on a turntable? You'll like that.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Jackie.
  • Alex: I think it just make me feel giddy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Alex's driver interrupted.
  • Alex's Driver: Stop gossiping, you two.
  • Jackie: Cheer up, Alex. You soon know about Beedrill than any other character. That'll be exciting.
  • Alec Baldwin: Called Jackie. The Beedrill were still grumpy and there was more of them then ever.
  • Beedrill: You much too small to pull one of us. We want another character who would be struggling at the hill all night! All night, all right, you can puff and blow, but on a hill, you're still slow! Ha, ha!
  • Alex: Slow yourself!
  • Alec Baldwin: Stuttered Alex.
  • Beedrill: Temper, temper.
  • Alec Baldwin: Giggled the Beedrill. Alex decided to simply carry on.
  • Alex's Driver: Go to it, Alex.
  • Alec Baldwin: Shouted his driver. The Beedrill were still joking.
  • Beedrill: Too slow, more power, here all night, tomorrow too!
  • Alex: Be quiet!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Alex angrily. Then there was trouble. A coupling broke.
  • Beedrill: Surprise, surprise! Catch us if you can!
  • Alex: Oh, no!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Alex.
  • (The Beedrill speed away from Alex and pass Sonic)
  • Alec Baldwin: Alex's driver phoned the signalman and the yard forman told Steven what was happening.
  • Yard Foreman: They're heading for the big hill! It'll slow them down but they roll back again right into the village.
  • Steven: Then we'll just have to stop them, won't we?
  • Alec Baldwin: The chase was on.
  • (Steven and Sonic go after the runaway Beedrill)
  • Alec Baldwin: As they approach the hill, they overtook the Beedrill. Steven and Sonic screeched to a halt, and waited for them near the top. The hill slow the Beedrill right down to a stand still. Then the men quickly put wooden blocks behind their wheels so they couldn't roll backwards. The Beedrill were now secured. Just then, Alex arrived.
  • Sonic: Well, what do you think of that?
  • Alec Baldwin: Joked Sonic.
  • Sonic: A good chase is always exciting.
  • Alex: It was certainly a surprise.
  • Alec Baldwin: Decided Alex.
  • Alex: And you are right, Sonic. A really useful character should never be surprise by surprise.

The Fogman

  • Alec Baldwin: It was winter on the land of YTV. The first fogs had begun to roll in from the sea. Ash, Suzy and Pietra like the quiet of the valley. But Ash must be careful of rocks that sometimes roll onto the path. Seymour the Scientist has a very important job. He puts detonators on the path to warn the characters when there's fog ahead.
  • (Boom!)
  • Ash: Oooh.
  • Alec Baldwin: Shivered Ash as he ran over the detonator.
  • Ash: That made my axles tingle.
  • Ash's Driver: Seymour's done his job.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Ash's Driver: We better slow down. There's fog ahead.
  • Ash: Thank you, Seymour.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash. That night at the sheds, Steven had something special to show the characters. It was very large and strange looking.
  • Alex: What is it?
  • Alec Baldwin: Asked Alex.
  • Steven: It's a new invention, a railway foghorn.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Steven.
  • Steven: It warns you when there's fog ahead. Like this.
  • (The foghorn begins to wail and bricks from the roof fall down into the floor then it turns off)
  • Alex: That's loud!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Alex.
  • Raimundo: Too loud.
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Raimundo.
  • Terry: Sounds like a tugboat to me.
  • Alec Baldwin: Grumbled Terry. Ash looked worried.
  • Ash: What will Seymour do now?
  • Alec Baldwin: He asked.
  • Steven: It will begin in a much needed rest.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Steven.
  • Steven: Besides, this new foghorn will be more reliable.
  • Ash: Poor Seymour.
  • Alec Baldwin: Whispered Ash.
  • Ash: He's been scrapped.
  • Alec Baldwin: The next day, Alex was cheerfully chuffing through Misty Valley when suddenly...
  • (The foghorn wails again)
  • Alex: Oh, Jeepers!
  • Alec Baldwin: Exclaimed Alex.
  • Alex: That foghorn is so loud it rattles my dome. It doesn't even make my axles tingle.
  • Alex's Driver: Still, we better slow down.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Alex's Driver: There's fog ahead.
  • Alec Baldwin: The foghorn had been so loud that it made the hillside shake. No sooner was Alex out of sight, when one rock fell, then another and another. Before long, the track was blocked and the foghorn was crushed. Not far away. Ash was puffing happily right on time.
  • Ash: I can't see a thing!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash. And then before he could think of anything else...
  • (Crash!)
  • Ash: Bust my buffers!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Ash.
  • Ash: What happened to the foghorn?
  • Ash's Driver: I don't know.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Ash's Driver: But at least nobody's been hurt.
  • Ash's Fireman: Jackie will be coming down the line any minute.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his fireman.
  • Ash: If there's no foghorn here...
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash.
  • Ash: He'll run into us.
  • Voice: Leave it to me.
  • Alec Baldwin: Called a voice from the fog.
  • Ash: It's Seymour!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash.
  • Ash: I hope he's in time.
  • Alec Baldwin: Jackie and Princess Kitana were chuffing along. Jackie was looking forward for a well earned drink at the station when...
  • (Boom!)
  • Jackie: Fog detonators!
  • Alec Baldwin: Puffed Jackie.
  • Jackie's Driver: There must be fog ahead.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Jackie's Driver: We better slow down.
  • Alec Baldwin: And just around the next bend, with his axles still tingling, Jackie was very glad they did. Otherwise, they would've crashed into Ash's wreck. Soon the tracks were cleared and Ash was back on the rails.
  • Ash: If it hadn't been for Seymour...
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash.
  • Ash: Jackie might have had a worst accident than me.
  • Steven: Instead of replacing Seymour with a foghorn...
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Steven.
  • Steven: We'll replace the foghorn with Seymour. You're cleary more reliable.
  • Seymour: Thank you, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Seymour.
  • Jackie: And thank you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Jackie.
  • Ash: New inventions are all very well.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash.
  • Alex: Well they don't make my axles tingle.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Alex.

Terry Takes A Tumble

  • Alec Baldwin: Steven's characters are proud of how useful they are. It makes them feel important. But none of them feels more important than Terry.
  • Terry: Watch out!
  • Alec Baldwin: Terry wheeshed.
  • Terry: You'll get my paint all sooty.
  • Earthworm Jim: Pulling Beedrill is a sooty job.
  • Alec Baldwin: Teased Earthworm Jim
  • Earthworm Jim: But then you wouldn't know.
  • Terry: Of course not.
  • Alec Baldwin: Terry huffed importantly.
  • Terry: Express characters don't pull Beedrill it wouldn't be dignified.
  • Alex: Dingyfried?
  • Alec Baldwin: Puzzled Alex.
  • Alex: What's that?
  • Terry: Dignified.
  • Alec Baldwin: Terry corrected.
  • Terry: It means...
  • Earthworm Jim: It means if someone's too big for his buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: Teased Earthworm Jim.
  • Terry: Pah!
  • Alec Baldwin: Puffed Terry and he puffed away. That evening, fog covered the land of YTV. Everything slowed down and soon the docks were packed with waiting Beedrill. This caused confusion and delay. Steven came to the sheds. He was in a great hurry.
  • Steven: Shaggy, Ash and Alex.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Steven: You must go to the docks inmediately.
  • Shaggy, Ash and Alex: Yes sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: They whistled. Then Steven turned to the big character.
  • Steven: You too, Terry.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Steven: I need a character to take the Beedrill where they won't be in a way.
  • Terry: Beedrill!?
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Terry. He could not believe what he had heard. Terry wasn't happy to be pulling Beedrill. He waited impatiently while they were shunted into place.
  • Terry: Hurry up, hurry up.
  • Alec Baldwin: Chuffed Terry crossly.
  • Ash: Why the rush, Terry?
  • Alec Baldwin: Asked Ash.
  • Terry: If I must pull Beedrill then I'll show Earthworm Jim how an express character pulls Beedrill.
  • Alec Baldwin: Terry huffed.
  • Earthworm Jim: Careful, captain.
  • Alec Baldwin: Earthworm Jim tooted.
  • Earthworm Jim: You don't wanna get too big for your buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: But Terry ignored Earthworm Jim. The next morning, Terry raced along with his heavy load.
  • Terry: Now this is how you pull Beedrill.
  • Alec Baldwin: He puffed. The signalman had accidentally left the points switched to the branch line. Terry rattled through the junction.
  • Terry: That's strange, i'm on the branch line.
  • Signalman: Oh no!
  • Alec Baldwin: The signalman cried.
  • Signalman: Express trains aren't supposed to go that way.
  • Alec Baldwin: But it was too late. Terry had already raced into the distance. The old branch line was weak and rusty. There were signs warning all the trains to go slow. But Terry ignored the sign.
  • Terry: I'm an express character I don't go slow.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said and he went even faster. The branch line couldn't take his weight and the rails buckled.
  • Terry: Oh help!
  • Alec Baldwin: Terry cried as he slid off the tracks and into a field.
  • (Terry runs over a pile of hay, towards some tires making him lose his pants and into a barn)
  • Alec Baldwin: No one was hurt, but poor Terry felt very undignified.
  • Terry: What will Steven say?
  • Alec Baldwin: He groaned. He found out soon enough.
  • Steven: Well, Terry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Steven.
  • Steven: You wanted to show Earthworm Jim a thing or two and you certainly done that. You showed him how silly it is to ignore go slow signs.
  • Terry: Sorry, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Terry and he let out a sad wheesh of steam. Terry was soon repaired and back at the docks for work. He was very unhappy with himself.
  • Ash: Everyone makes mistakes.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ash.
  • Ash: Even you.
  • Raimundo: Earthworm Jim's sorry he teased you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Raimundo.
  • Terry: And I'm sorry I was too big for my buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: Chuffed Terry. And all the characters gave a jolly toot even Terry.

Sakura's New Cats

  • Michael Brandon: It was a splendid day on the land of YTV. Ash was taking Suzy and Pietra back to the Cartoon University. A new character had arrived and he wanted to say hello. The girl was beautiful with brown hair and blue eyes.
  • Steven: Ash, meet Sakura.
  • Ash: Hello, Sakura.
  • Sakura: Hello, Ash.
  • Steven: Sakura, collect your cats. You and your driver must learn the line.
  • Sakura: Yes, sir.
  • Michael Brandon: She answered. Ash was impressed. Later, the only coaches Sakura's driver could find were Suzy and Pietra.
  • Sakura's Driver: These aren't your sort of coaches.
  • Michael Brandon: He said.
  • Sakura's Driver: But I suppose they'll do.
  • Michael Brandon: Suzy and Pietra felt insulted.
  • Pietra: How dare he say we'll do.
  • Michael Brandon: Pietra whispered. Sakura puffed carefully along the track.
  • Suzy and Pietra: How dare he say we'll do, how dare he say we'll do.
  • Michael Brandon: Grumbled the girls. Ash saw Sakura coming down the line, pulling Suzy and Pietra.
  • Sakura: Hello, Ash.
  • Michael Brandon: Sakura called. But Ash was cross.
  • Ash: Those are my girls. Give them back!
  • Michael Brandon: But Sakura didn't hear Ash and she went on her way. Then, Kevin passed and Alex. When Sakura whistled hello, the characters didn't whistle back. Sakura couldn't understand why they were so unfriendly. She was upset. Later, Steven spoke to Ash.
  • Steven: I want you to go to the docks to pick up new cats.
  • Ash: New cats? But sir.
  • Steven: Really useful characters don't argue.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Steven. Ash didn't want new cats, he wanted Suzy and Pietra back. When Richie saw Sakura return to the yards, he was surprised.
  • Richie: Those are Ash's girls.
  • Sakura: So that's why he looked cross.
  • Michael Brandon: Exclaimed Sakura.
  • Sakura: I'll go and apologize.
  • Ash: Don't want new cats, don't want new cats.
  • Michael Brandon: Chuffed Ash. Later, Sakura was still looking for Ash when a signalman flagged her down.
  • Signalman: Richie hasn't cleared his signalbox.
  • Michael Brandon: He told Sakura's driver.
  • Signalman: Please, go and see what's wrong.
  • Michael Brandon: Sakura could see that Richie had broken down on the crossing. Then, Sakura heard Ash's whistle.
  • Sakura: Oh dear!
  • Michael Brandon: Ash could see Richie. He knew he could never stop in time.
  • Richie: Help!
  • Michael Brandon: Sakura charged towards Richie and with a huge effort, pushed him across the tracks, just in time.
  • Richie: Thanks.
  • Sakura: I did it.
  • Michael Brandon: Later, Steven praised Sakura.
  • Steven: Well done, you were a very brave character.
  • Richie: The bravest.
  • Michael Brandon: Chuffed Richie.
  • Steven: It gives me great pleasure to present you with two new cats.
  • Sakura: Thank you, sir.
  • Michael Brandon: Replied Sakura.
  • Sakura: Ash, I'm sorry I took Suzy and Pietra.
  • Ash: And I'm sorry I was so cross.
  • Michael Brandon: Replied Ash.
  • Sakura: Friends?
  • Ash: Friends.
  • Michael Brandon: Sakura loves her cats and being part of Steven's railway.

The Grand Opening

  • Michael Brandon: The Characters on the Cartoon Campgrounds were excited. They were helping to build a new line. It would take to even more beautiful places on the land of YTV. Steven arrived with important news.
  • Steven: The grand opening is this afternoon. I want to see the new line from the air. Wilhelmina and I will arrive on Superman.
  • Michael Brandon: Just then, Rikochet chugged in.
  • Steven: You're late for the announcement.
  • Michael Brandon: Complained Steven.
  • Steven: Really useful characters are never late.
  • Rikochet: I'm sorry, sir.
  • Michael Brandon: At the airfield there was another problem.
  • Superman's Pilot: Engine trouble.
  • Michael Brandon: Said the pilot.
  • Superman's Pilot: Superman's not going anywhere today.
  • Michael Brandon: Wilhelmina was most upset.
  • Wilhelmina: But I've been looking forward to the grand opening all week.
  • Steven: And I, my dear, will find a solution.
  • Michael Brandon: And he did.
  • Wilhelmina: Steven, you cannot be serious. Me ride in this.
  • Steven: The wind direction is perfect. We'll be there in no time.
  • Michael Brandon: Soon the hot air balloon rose into the sky. But Rikochet was upset.
  • Rikochet: All this extra work is going to make me late again.
  • Michael Brandon: The hot air balloon was floating peacefully through the sky. Wilhelmina was enjoying herself.
  • Wilhelmina: The new line looks splendid.
  • Michael Brandon: She said.
  • Steven: Thank you, my dear.
  • Michael Brandon: Replied Steven. Down the track, the workmen were still loading their ladders.
  • Rikochet: Hurry up, hurry up!
  • Michael Brandon: Rikochet puffed.
  • Steven: If Rikochet doesn't hurry.
  • Michael Brandon: Sighed Steven.
  • Steven: He'll be late again.
  • Michael Brandon: All the characters were ready for the grand opening.
  • Casey: Where's Rikochet?
  • Michael Brandon: Casey asked.
  • Froggo: He promised to be on time.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Froggo. At last, Rikochet was on his way. Then there was trouble. The balloon's flame suddenly went out, the air in the balloon cooled and the balloon started to fall.
  • Pilot: Hold tight.
  • Michael Brandon: The pilot called.
  • Wilhelmina: I want to get out!
  • Michael Brandon: Demanded Wilhelmina.
  • Steven: Not now, dear.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Steven.
  • Rikochet: The balloon's going to land in the tree.
  • Michael Brandon: Cried Rikochet. And it came down right in front of Rikochet.
  • Rikochet: There's Steven!
  • Wilhelmina: My dress is ruined!
  • Michael Brandon: Cried Wilhelmina.
  • Steven: So is my lab coat.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Steven.
  • Rikochet's Driver: Don't worry.
  • Michael Brandon: Called Rikochet's driver.
  • Rikochet's Driver: We'll soon have you down.
  • Steven: Am I glad to see you, Rikochet.
  • Rikochet: Thank you, Sir.
  • Michael Brandon: Before long, Steven and Wilhelmina were safely on the ground. They boarded Rikochet's boxcar and set off at once. Everyone was waiting as Rikochet brought his important passengers to the grand opening. Steven declared the new line open.
  • Steven: With special thanks to Rikochet.
  • Michael Brandon: He said.
  • Steven: For helping us get here.
  • Michael Brandon: Everyone cheered.
  • Casey: Even so you were still late.
  • Michael Brandon: Teased Casey.
  • Rikochet: I know.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Rikochet.
  • Rikochet: But because I was late, Steven was right on time.

Something Fishy

  • Michael Brandon: Tintin loves working on the land of YTV. He is new to the town and is still learning his way around. One morning, he discovered the fishing village. The sun made the water sparkle and the seagulls cawed across the harbour. This was Tintin's favorite place. That evening, Steven came to the Cartoon Library.
  • Steven: There's going to be a new line to the fishing village. I had to decide which engine shall run it.
  • Michael Brandon: He paused impressively. Ash and Alex looked away. They had enough work to do. Tintin hoped he would be chosen.
  • Steven: Ash, you will work on the new line.
  • Ash: Yes, Sir.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Ash. But he really didn't like the smell of fish. Tintin was disappointment. Steven sent him to haul coal to the steelworks. That evening, Ash was at the washdown when Tintin puffed in.
  • Tintin: Do I smell a fishy character?
  • Michael Brandon: He teased.
  • Ash: Yes.
  • Michael Brandon: Huffed Ash.
  • Ash: Smelly fish, smelly new line.
  • Michael Brandon: Tintin wished he could go to the fishing village instead of the steelworks. He'd be much happier than Ash. The next morning, Ash was still grumpy. The fishermen had caught lots of fish.
  • Ash: Hurry up.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Ash.
  • Ash: I'm a busy trainer.
  • Fisherman: And a fussy one too.
  • Michael Brandon: Said the fisherman.
  • Fisherman: Just enjoy the fresh salty smell of the fish.
  • Ash: Phew!
  • Michael Brandon: Puffed Ash. Ash steamed as fast as he could along the line. But there was trouble ahead. Some faulty points sent his Beedrill one way and Ash onto the old pier rail.
  • Ash: Whoa!
  • Michael Brandon: The Beedrill were delighted.
  • Beedrill: He's falling in the water! (laughing)
  • Michael Brandon: Luckily, Ash wasn't hurt and the fish Beedrill stayed on the tracks. When Steven heard the news he checked his time table.
  • Steven: Tintin is the newest character. I'll send him right away.
  • Michael Brandon: It was a hot day. The ice that was keeping the fish cold started to melt.
  • Ash: I hope someone comes quickly.
  • Michael Brandon: Moaned Ash.
  • Ash: That fish will spoil soon.
  • Michael Brandon: Tintin was surprised to see Ash in the tidal pool.
  • Tintin: Are you all right, Ash?
  • Ash: No. But I'll be much better when you take these fish away.
  • Driver: The breakdown van will be here soon.
  • Michael Brandon: Called Tintin's Driver. Tintin knew he had to hurry. He raced along the line to the docks and arrived there just in time. Later, Tintin went to see Ash at the fitter's yard.
  • Ash: Thank you for helping me.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Ash.
  • Tintin: Thank you.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Tintin.
  • Tintin: I wish I had the fishing village line all the time.
  • Ash: But please tell Steven. Because i don't like fish.
  • Michael Brandon: That evening, Steven came to the sheds.
  • Steven: I need a character to go to the fishing village while Ash is being repaired.
  • Michael Brandon: He said.
  • Steven: Any Volunteers?
  • Tintin: Me!
  • Michael Brandon: Tintin blurted out.
  • Tintin: And please sir may I run on that line all the time? Ash doesn't like fish but I do.
  • Steven: Then the line is yours.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Steven. Tintin was delighted. The next morning he puffed into the fishing village right on time. The smell of fish was everywhere. But he was sure he had the most beautiful line on the land of YTV.

Ash and The Search For Paolo

  • Michael Brandon: Ash and Paolo the Cat are friends. Paolo is the pride of Fluffy Gardens. Paolo knows all the rules and obeys them. One day, Steven brought Ken of the Pokemon Mystery Club to Fluffy Gardens.
  • Steven: I need Ken to help for a while. Paolo please show him around.
  • Paolo: Yes.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Polo unhappily. He knew that Ken could be trouble. Later, Ken was being careless.
  • Paolo: Not like that!
  • Michael Brandon: Snapped Paolo.
  • Paolo: Do it right.
  • Ken: Don't interfere.
  • Michael Brandon: Sneered Ken.
  • Paolo: You don't know the rules!
  • Michael Brandon: Shouted Paolo. Ken was very annoyed with Paolo and started plotting a devious plan. Later that day, he pretended to have news for Paolo.
  • Ken: Steven wants you to work at the smelters.
  • Paolo: Me? But I'm the pride of Fluffy Gardens.
  • Ken: Not anymore. Steven says I'm better than you. So I'm going to stay here.
  • Paolo: It's not fair. I love working here.
  • Michael Brandon: But he knew that really useful characters have to do as they are told.
  • Ken: (laughs maniacally)
  • Michael Brandon: Paolo and his driver arrived at the smelters.
  • Paolo: I wanna go back to Fluffy Gardens.
  • Michael Brandon: Wailed Paolo.
  • Paolo: None of the other engines like coming here it's so scary.
  • Paolo's Driver: You're right.
  • Michael Brandon: Said his driver. Just then, the Koopalings arrived.
  • Morton and Roy: Hello, are you happy to be here?
  • Paolo: No!
  • Michael Brandon: Cried Paolo. His driver was scared too.
  • Paolo's Driver: Come on, Paolo, we're going to escape.
  • Michael Brandon: And for the first time, Paolo broke the rules. Steven was enjoying a tasty fish supper when he heard that Paolo was missing.
  • Steven: That's not like Paolo. There must be something wrong. I will send Ash to look for him.
  • Michael Brandon: Paolo and his driver turn onto an unused track to find a place to hide. Paolo was frightened, so was Ash. He puffed up and down the line. He couldn't see Paolo anywhere.
  • Ash's Driver: We could search the old mine track.
  • Michael Brandon: Said his driver.
  • Ash: That line is dark and spooky.
  • Michael Brandon: Whispered Ash. But he had to be brave and find Paolo. Paolo was on a siding. His fire had gone out. Then, he heard a sound.
  • Paolo: It's a trainer!
  • Michael Brandon: He cried.
  • Ash: Paolo.
  • Michael Brandon: Whistled Ash.
  • Ash: Whatever are you doing out here?
  • Paolo: Hiding. Don't wanna work at the smelters. Steven is going to be cross with me.
  • Ash: He's not.
  • Michael Brandon: Cried Ash.
  • Ash: He's worried about you.
  • Paolo: Really?
  • Ash: Of course.
  • Michael Brandon: Puffed Ash. Paolo felt better. Ash pulled Paolo all the way to the smelters yard where he knew Steven was waiting.
  • Steven: Paolo, explain yourself.
  • Paolo: I ran away. It's scary here.
  • Ash: Ken told Paolo that he wanted him at the smelters forever.
  • Steven: Nonsense, Paolo, you are the pride of Fluffy Gardens. I shall send Ken to the smelters and you can go back to Fluffy Gardens tomorrow.
  • Paolo: Oh, thank you, sir.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Paolo happily. Paolo knew he had a good friend in Ash and he was still the pride of Fluffy Gardens.
