ZATR is one of Three well known Fanfic Romances of Invader ZIM. Along with ZADR and ZAGR, ZATR is a Totally well known ficticous Romance between Enemies Zim and Tak. ZATR's Origins are unknown but it was likely Derived from the Deleted Scene Jhonen Vasquez cut out from TAK: The Hideous New Girl of Zim Kissing Taks Hand as well as Hugging Her. Some people who Dont Support it have admited that they can see it working out because they are both Irkens and are of the Opposite Sex. However Jhonen Vasquez states that they will always be enemies.

Throughout "TAK: The Hideous New Girl," there was constant tension between the two of them. Some believe that was only Tak's loathing of Zim and Zim's determination to keep Tak from conquering Earth before he could... but some believe there could be more between them than just that. It has been noted to not have Pedophillia like ZADR or ZAGR (Due to them being younger than Zim or Tak). Mostly some reasons were given.

1. They were both lowered to Service Drone status
2. They both want to conquer Earth
3. They are both Irken
4. They are both power-hungry
5. They both want to prove themselves to the Tallests
6. They are both criminally insane
7. They are both around the same age

Despite these reasons Jhonen Vasquez has stated that Zim and Tak will always be enemies however he still lets the Fans have their opinions. Some think that DATR is more plodable due to many hinted possibilities though Jhonen has also stated there is no official Romance in Invader ZIM. However Dib knows Tak is trying to take over the Earth as to which he tries to stop Zim and would probably make no difference for Tak if she stayed on Earth. Also this can also be Considered Pedophillia due to Tak being older than Dib. Again The Statement by Jhonen has contradicted all IZ Romances.
