Transcript[]

Part 1[]

  • (We see Virgil and the others watch Zachary handing Casey the bouquet of flowers)
  • Zachary: For you.
  • Casey: (sniffing them) Ah, thanks.
  • Virgil: Nice Kei and Mizuho outfits.
  • Zachary: We're leaving on a date.
  • Casey: Good luck.
  • Sam: We will.
  • Kaolla: Hmph!
  • Anthony: Hey, what's the matter with you?
  • Kaolla: I'm bad tempered to the bad life!
  • Amy: There's no way.
  • Kaolla: Yes way!
  • Katnappe: We're warning you.
  • Kaolla: Grr!
  • (The Conductors appear)
  • Mr. Conductor 2: Kaolla is bad tempered.
  • Sam: First Amelia, then Chiyo.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Daisy encountered Champion.
  • Sanji: Champion?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: I can tell.
  • (Mr. Conductor 1 blows his whistle and Bulls Eyes starts)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Toby the Tram Engine has cowcatcher and sideplates. They helped to prevent animals from getting hurt if they should stray onto the line. Daisy thought Toby's fenders were silly.
  • Daisy: You're afraid of getting hurt yourself.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: She flounced.
  • Toby: I'm not.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Huffed Toby.
  • Daisy: Yes you are. I don't have stupid cowcatchers but i'm not frightened. I just toot and they all go away.
  • Toby: But they don't.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Toby.
  • Daisy: They would with me. Animals always run if you toot and look them in the eye.
  • Toby: Even bulls?
  • Daisy: Even bulls.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Daisy. Daisy had never met a bull but she purred away quite unconcerned. She tooted at a farm crossing and the horse and cart halted while she went by.
  • Daisy: Huh!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: She said.
  • Daisy: It's easy. I just toot and they all stand aside. Poor little Toby. I'm sorry he's frightened.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: At the next station, a policeman was waiting.
  • Policeman: There's a bull on the line.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He warned.
  • Policeman: Please persuade it to return to the farmer.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Daisy was excited.
  • Daisy: Now...
  • Mr. Conductor 1: She thought.
  • Daisy: ...i'll show Toby how to manage bulls.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Champion isn't really a fierce bull, but this morning he was cross. He'd strayed from his field, crashed through a fence, slithered down a slope and now he didn't know where he was. Suddenly, he saw some grass.
  • Champion: Now for my breakfast.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He thought.
  • Daisy: Oooh!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Tooted Daisy.
  • Daisy: Go on.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Champion was too busy chomping to take any notice.
  • Daisy: Ooh!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Daisy again. Champion kept grazing.
  • Daisy: This is all wrong.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Daisy.
  • Daisy: How can i look him in the eye if he wont turn around.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: At last he did.
  • Champion: Moo!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Champion.
  • Daisy: Oo, oh, uh!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Murmured Daisy.
  • Daisy: Why doesn't he run away?
  • Daisy's Driver: Go on, Daisy.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said her driver.
  • Daisy's Driver: He's harmless.
  • Daisy: Yes.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Daisy unhappily.
  • Daisy: You know he's harmless and i know he's harmless. But does he know. Look at his horns if i bump into him he might hurt, me uh, them. Uh, the farmer wouldn't like that.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Champion sniffed at Daisy.
  • (Champion starts sniffing)
  • Daisy: Ugh!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Daisy and that was that. Daisy did no more. Toby was bemused and amused to see her back in the station so soon.
  • Toby: Bulls always run if you toot and look them in the eye. Eh, Daisy?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Daisy stayed silent.
  • Toby: Ah, well.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Continued Toby.
  • Toby: We can live and learn. I better chase him away for you i suppose.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He clanked away to find Champion. Toby's bell rang and his whistle sounded but Champion took no notice. Then Toby whooshed loudly. That did the trick. Toby whooshed a little more and now breakfast over. Champion chauntered away to join the farmer. Daisy was feeling exhausted. She was glad when her day's work was over. Some boys were on the platform.
  • Boy: Look, Daisy.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: One teased.
  • Boy: I've got some sweets. They're called Bulls Eyes. I like them do you.
  • Daisy: Ah, keep your old bulls eyes.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: And Daisy scuttled to her shed.
  • (Bulls Eyes ends)
  • Sanji: Daisy doesn't like bulls.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: They might beat her.
  • (The Conductors disappear)
  • Kaolla: (starts crying like a siren)
  • Virgil: Kaolla's crying!
  • Brawly: What!?
  • Jan: Oh my!
  • (End of Part 1)

Part 2[]

  • (We see Zachary asking Casey to dance at the Please Teacher date)
  • Zachary: (kissing Casey's hand) Your cute outfit. Shall we dance?
  • Casey: Certainly.
  • (Zachary and Casey start dancing)
  • (We see Virgil and the others with a crying Kaolla)
  • Virgil: Don't start crying, Kaolla.
  • Kaolla: (teary eyed) No, you're all cowards!
  • Shauna: Cowards!?
  • Kaolla: (whimpers and starts crying like a siren)
  • Jughead: Ow! My ears!
  • Slam: Enough!
  • Amy: Make it stop!
  • Kaolla: (crying loudly) I hate it!
  • Sam: (giving Kaolla a hug) Don't act like that.
  • (The Conductors reappear)
  • Mr. Conductor 2: Poor Kaolla.
  • Hotstreak: Crying like Amelia and Chiyo.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Duck had a nasty smell of fish.
  • Amy: Smell of fish?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: I can tell.
  • (Mr. Conductor 1 blows his whistle and Fish starts)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: On starry night when the moon is full and the air still, you can hear the sounds of faraway ships and distant laughter. They echoed over the hills and through the valleys, down calm canals and sleepy inlits. Every engine knows that these are the sounds that say the harbour is hard at work at the big station by the sea. One night, a special load of fish was ordered. Sir Topham Hatt decided that extra vans must be added to the train that the men called The Flying Kipper. The only vans available were old ones. They had not been used for a long time. Henry waited impatiently by the keyside as Duck shunted them into position. Thomas puffed by with the mail train.
  • Thomas: Hello, Duck. Going fishing? I'd take care if i were you.
  • Duck: Why?
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Huffed Duck.
  • Thomas: Well for one thing...
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Puffed Thomas remembering his own experience.
  • Thomas: ...if fish get into an engine's boiler they always cause trouble. And for another, fish can be awfully smelly. And i know what i'm talking about. Good night.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Henry grunted dreadfully.
  • Henry's Driver: You'll just have to put up with it, Henry.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said his driver.
  • Henry's Driver: At least the extra load will mean you can have another engine help us up Gordon's Hill.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Meanwhile, Duck was waiting at Edward's station so that he could help the heavy train by pushing from behind. Henry made good progress. When he reached the platform his driver stopped the train beyond the platform. Then Henry gave a special signal.
  • Henry: Peep, peep, peep, peep! I need help please?
  • Duck: Peep, peep!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Replied Duck.
  • Duck: I won't be long.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Duck buffered gently up to Henry's train. He was not coupled on. Henry would then be able to run on without stopping when they reached the top of the hill.
  • Duck: Ready!
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Whistled Duck and off they went. Soon they reached Gordon's Hill.
  • Henry: Push hard, push hard.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Puffed Henry.
  • Duck: We're doing it, we're doing it.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Replied Duck. Henry was pulling his train harder than he realized.
  • (The lamp from the fourth van comes off all of a sudden)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Duck felt the weight on his buffers slacking. Then Duck noticed something else.
  • Duck: There's no sign of a tail lamp.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He tought. He whistled, but there was no reply. Meanwhile Henry had noticed something too.
  • Henry: My train's getting heavier.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: He thought to himself.
  • Henry: I'm slowing down.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Then there was trouble.
  • (Duck smashes into the vans, causing Henry to come to a stop)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: No one was hurt. But a strong smell of fish hung in the air. Next day, workmen found a broken tail lamp at the bottom of the hill. Sir Topham Hatt spoke kindly to Duck.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: The accident wasn't your fault. We should've checked that this tail lamp was fixed on properly. We'll soon have you in working order again.
  • Duck: Thank you, sir.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Said Duck sadly.
  • Duck: Thomas told me to be careful with fish. They got me in a right pickle, didn't they?
  • (Fish ends)
  • Amy: Duck never wants to get smelly.
  • Mr. Conductor 1: You're right.
  • (The Conductors disappear)
  • Kaolla: (snoring)
  • Virgil: Finally, Kaolla stopped crying.
  • Anthony: We can nap too.
  • Kimmy: Good thinking.
  • (End of Part 2)

Part 3[]

  • (We see Zachary and Casey still dancing to music at the Please Teacher date)
  • Zachary: (twirling Casey) Round and round.
  • Casey: You're making me giddy.
  • (Zachary and Casey continue dancing)
  • (We see Virgil and the others napping while The Conductors reappear)
  • Mr. Conductor 1: Good old times.
  • Mr. Conductor 2: Of course.
  • (The Conductors shake hands as the episode ends)
  • (End of Part 3)
